Ariadna Lerg Illestri Pre Agrigent is no ordinary baby. She’s the princess of an empire, she doesn’t cry at all, and…she was born with memories of her previous life?! Not to mention her father’s trying to kill her! Blessed with a chance to start over but cursed with a crazed tyrant as her father, Ria must navigate the chaos of growing up in the palace—conceited concubines, grand birthday celebrations, assassins in the night—while also avoiding being killed… But just how is she meant to escape death when she can’t even walk?!

Adriana is cute enough to charm the most austere of men and can even talk and run. And if the lavish party thrown for her first birthday is any indication, life as the daughter of the emperor should be nice, right? Now, if only her father would stop treating her like a dog…!

Right when Ria thought she and Caitel were getting closer, her papa is wrenched away from her! With Caitel needed at the battlefront, Ria is left to spend her days awaiting his return—yet the palace is anything but quiet. Silvia’s baby is on the way, Graecito is causing trouble for both Ria and Serira, and a mysterious concubine lures the princess in with tales of her late mother. But most intriguing of all is the solemn, beautiful knight in tears at the Winter Tree—just who is he, why is he crying so sorrowfully, and what is his relationship with Caitel…?

Princess Ria is on a mission! The objective: find out why Asisi is avoiding her. The beautiful knight distances himself every time she’s in his sight, but Ria is nothing if not tenacious—and she’s enlisted Caitel and Perdel for recon. Operation win over Asisi...commence!

Ria is safe and sound from her potential kidnappers, thanks to Asisi’s swift rescue, but she’s left with more questions than ever about the Guardian Knight. What’s the story behind his scar-riddled back? And why does everyone act so strangely when she tries to bring it up? Ria’s determined to get to the bottom of things—even if it takes every last one of her princess charms!

There’s never a dull moment for Princess Ria! With her having a father like Caitel, any situation can be flipped upside down in the blink of an eye. Playing with Perdel’s sons? Fun, but not when a broken statue makes for a sulky emperor! Setting Elene up with the guy she’s crushing on? Cute—except Caitel mistakes Ria’s intentions and orders to have him killed! But at the root of it all seems to be Caitel’s affection for his daughter, which Ria now knows she can put her faith in…That is, until a familiar face shows up at court and proclaims to have mothered a legitimate heir to the throne!

Trouble is brewing at the palace! What starts as an innocent visit to the Winter Tree quickly sours when Ria accidentally runs into her half brother— the very person Caitel warned her not to meet. As tempers fly and tear-filled fights abound, the colossal misunderstanding comes to a head when Serira jumps to the princess’s defense…and right into Caitel’s line of fire! Unbeknownst to Ria, the emperor orders Serira to pay for her transgression with her life. Will father and daughter be able to mend their bond before blood is spilled…?

As Elene’s wedding approaches, Ria finally comes to terms with saying good-bye to her longtime handmaiden...But she soon learns that every ending welcomes a new beginning as the truth about Dranste’s identity unravels! However, peeling back one layer only reveals more questions, and if dealing with the mysterious and elusive Dranste wasn’t enough, a run-in with the cute-but-hostile prince of a ruined enemy nation puts Ria’s princess charms to the test. Does she have what it takes to win him over?

Surviving until eighteen is no easy feat when your dad is a tyrant, but luckily for Ria, she’s no ordinary princess! A lot of things may have changed, but the three grown men who hover over her in adoration are still the same. Now as an adult, Ria navigates the palace with new responsibilities befitting the princess of an empire, such as entertaining guests, managing the palace, and...greeting the new emperor of Praezia?!
