Physicians around the world are familiar with Johannes Rohen’s books on human anatomy. In this, his last major work, Rohen presents the fruits of a lifelong study of the human organism. Viewing the various organs and organ systems as part of a dynamic whole, Rohen arrives at new and profound insights. This book significantly supplements and expands the concepts of general anatomy and offers a new basis for approaching the interaction of body and soul.Functional Morphology offers fresh insight and inspiration for physicians, therapists, educators, and anyone interested in gaining a deeper understanding of the human organism.

Our understanding of life on earth is always developing. In this age of genetics and microbiology, Andreas Suchantke brings a lifetime of holistic biological research to the question of the development and evolution of plants and animals.Following Goethe's participatory method, and drawing on his observations from a number of continents, Suchantke presents evolution as an integrated dynamic process that unfolds on a far more fundamental level than Darwin's natural selection.Beautifully illustrated through the author’s own drawings and colour photographs, this masterly work offers a rich, dynamic and deeply meaningful understanding of organic life.

Can Rudolf Steiner's spiritual science shed any meaningful light on one of the most materialistic of human pursuits: research on the atom?Physics teacher Keith Francis believes it can. He traces the concept of the atom from ancient Greece to contemporary quantum physics, all the time relating this compelling quest to relevant statements made by Rudolf Steiner. He concludes that there are, in fact, many connections and parallels between Steiner's thinking and atomic research, and that each illuminates the other in a revealing and inspiring way. This is an ideal book for Steiner-Waldorf teachers looking for a deeper understanding of science.

This book explores the captivating colors that appear in the atmosphere of the earth: coronas, glories, halos, rainbows, dawn and dusk. Using the holistic observational method developed by Goethe in his Theory of Color, this book offers the reader a new way of relating to atmospheric colours. In its attempt to bridge the wide span between the physics of atmospheric colours and a spiritual approach to them, the path of unfolding descriptions and thoughts becomes artistic in itself. Extraordinary photographs and references to modern literature and websites round out the work. The book should prove helpful to scientists looking for a different approach to optics or an introduction to Goethe's phenomenological science, to teachers seeking a new approach to optics lessons, and to anyone who loves these colours and wishes to deepen their relationship to them.

The hare thistle (or sow thistle) is a tall relative of the dandelion and was the inspiration behind the creation of this beautifully illustrated children's book. Gifted teacher and artist Gertrude Teutych's love for this special plant led her to create a story, to share its unique development with children. Gertrude's pictures and words imaginatively explore the stages and formations of the plant, detailing how the plant changes and grows its jagged leaves, prickles, lines and dimpled bud heads as it develops. This book will nurture a love for, and interest in, nature in young children. This is a helpful resource for teachers in the kindergarten and Class 1 and 2 (ages 6-8) in the Steiner-Waldorf curriculum.
