Artvoices Art Books – förlag

Don’t Worry It Will Grow Back is not just a book it’s a fearless invitation to see hair in a completely new way. Captured through the striking lens of photographer Chris Clinton, this visually arresting collection showcases the boundary pushing work of Dennis Lanni, a self-taught hair artist whose creations blur the line between beauty, sculpture, and performance. Lanni doesn’t simply style hair he transforms it into bold, unexpected works of art. Inside, you’ll discover gravity defying shapes, playful reinventions of classic looks, and jaw-dropping designs built from unlikely materials: metal, magnets, found objects all woven seamlessly into hair with meticulous precision. From exaggerated ’60s silhouettes adorned with delicate bows to rebellious, punk inspired creations, every page reveals a new expression of imagination and technical mastery. Lanni’s process is intuitive and spontaneous, driven by curiosity and instinct. Inspiration can come from anywhere, a fleeting visual, a texture in nature, a passing idea and evolve into something entirely original. The result is a body of work that feels alive, unpredictable, and impossible to ignore. Having styled icons like Jared Leto, Miley Cyrus, Amy Winehouse, Courtney Love and with work featured in Vogue, Rolling Stone, and Harper’s Bazaar, Lanni brings high-fashion credibility together with a mischievous, irreverent spirit. Whether crafting avant garde runway looks or designing bold styles for performers, his work consistently challenges expectations of what hair can be. Don’t Worry, It Will Grow Back is for anyone drawn to creativity without limits—artists, stylists, and anyone who believes beauty should be daring, playful, and a little bit rebellious. Because sometimes, the most unforgettable creations come from taking the risk.
