In Out of Time: The Intergenerational Abduction Program Explored, author Steve Aspin has written a crossover work about the enduring worldwide reports of alien abduction. The book is intended for both those familiar with the historic published case material and the curious reader unfamiliar with the decades of serious academic research on this superficially improbable phenomenon. The author details his lifelong personal experience and the relationships he built with leading researchers during 15 years of investigating this phenomenon. He has at all times attempted to approach the subject with critical thoroughness and intellectual rigour. From stumbling on a cattle mutilation in Ireland in 1970, to witnessing a UFO after a period of missing time at age 16 in 1972, to a confrontational experience in a Sardinia hotel in 2006, the author relates a lifetime of 'anomalous' experiences. But this is only the starting point of the journey the reader of Out of Time will make. Steve then details several years of investigation into the subject and how what he has learned has shaped his thoughts on what is happening to perhaps millions of people worldwide. He had the good fortune to meet with several leading researchers in the field including Budd Hopkins and Dr David Jacobs and read hundreds of published works on the subject of UFOs and abductions. He has attempted to bring hard forensic evidence to the discussion and to follow that evidence where it may lead, paying particular attention to the clearly intergenerational aspect of the global abduction program which he demonstrates, with corroborating evidence, almost certainly dates from the 1890s.His conclusions will be of interest to anyone attentive to this field of study. Whether inevitably proved right or wrong, they stem from a conscious effort to bring objectivity and honesty to the analysis of this widely-reported phenomenon. Although successfully normalised in popular culture to become background noise or a minor comic footnote in otherwise busy lives, this subject has real and serious implications for both the individual experiencer and human society collectively.

The Cleveland Street scandal, involving a homosexual brothel reputedly visited by the Queen's grandson, shocked Victorian Britain in 1889. This is the second edition, including much new information, of the full-length account of one of its key players, Jack Saul, an Irish Catholic rent boy who worked his way into the upper echelons of the aristocracy, and wrote the notorious pornographic memoir The Sins of the Cities of the Plain. Glenn Chandler, creator of Taggart, explores his colourful but tragic life and reveals for the first time the true story about what really went on behind the velvet curtains of 19 Cleveland Street.

Since the end of the Second World War, this audacious operation has remained little known amongst the public or military in the United Kingdom. It was an incredible endeavour executed by British and Australian service personnel. The deepest surface waterborne penetration behind enemy occupied lines undertaken by special forces of WW2. This hand-picked band of men would achieve what some thought to be impossible, a major strike at the very heart of the Japanese in their newly acquired Empire in South East Asia. This story ranks and deserves the same acknowledgment as exploits such as the Dambusters or Cockleshell Heroes. In the words of British Generals and US Admirals and Commanders, it achieved what everyone thought was impossible, without loss and with the minimum expenditure of resources. A terrible twist in the tail is that by not using the success of the mission as a propaganda victory as had been intended by Jaywick's commanders, a terrible price was paid by local Singaporeans who were scapegoated by the Japanese Secret Police. This is perhaps the reason that Operation Jaywick was never hailed with the success it truly deserved. The highly effective delivery of Operation Jaywick gave a green light to an even more ambitious endeavour from which no British or Australian personnel would survive, many being executed, beheaded by their Japanese captors. The Tiger's Revenge is the story told by the son of a Special Operations Executive crew member who was the only British survivor of Operation Jaywick.

Recorded in England, Denmark and Italy between May and September 1989, Depeche Mode’s seventh studio album ‘Violator’ was a landmark record beloved by fans and universally regarded as the band’s creative highpoint. Eventually selling 7.5 million copies following its release in March 1990, ‘Violator’ gave the cult British band – Dave Gahan, Martin Gore, Andy ‘Fletch’ Fletcher and Alan Wilder – the critical acclaim they finally deserved. The adventurous, highly experimental approach that the band took for ‘Violator’ recording sessions also yielded two of the band’s most recognisable and successful singles in ‘Personal Jesus’ and ‘Enjoy The Silence’. Produced by the band with the influential studio guru Flood and mixed by the legendary François Kevorkian, ‘Violator’ is viewed as a hugely groundbreaking body of work by countless musicians and DJs, such was its progressive synthesis of electronic, rock, dance and pop music. The album revealed a new maturity and sensitivity to Martin Gore’s songwriting and allowed the band’s inquisitive Alan Wilder to come to the fore as a principal architect of the band’s approach to studio production. This period in the band’s history also found them forging a deeply trusted and influential partnership with photographer and designer Anton Corbijn, often viewed as the fifth member of Depeche Mode at this time. Corbijn’s work with the Area creative agency for the ‘Violator’ project delivered iconic, integrated artwork, photography, videos and short films across the album, its singles, and tour design. Written by uber-fans Kevin May and David McElroy, with ‘Halo’ we find ourselves shadowing the band in the studio, on an intense, pivotal worldwide tour and on the sets of arty Super 8 vignettes. We watch as samples and sounds are painstakingly wrought into rhythms, as flights are missed to secure additional seconds of mix time, as label executives in boardrooms deliberate over the order of the album’s singles. We find ourselves in downtown LA at the scene of an apocryphal riot as fans clamour to get their copies of the album signed. We observe the often misunderstood but hugely important role that the late Andy Fletcher played in the band and witness the tumultuous emotional pressures on the band’s frontman, Dave Gahan. During an intense and pivotal two-and-a-half years in the life of the group, we follow Depeche Mode as they complete their metamorphosis into one of the most significant bands of a generation, and place the success and innovations of ‘Violator’ at the dead centre of the rapidly-changing late-80s, early-90s musical zeitgeist. More than an album biography, ‘Halo’ goes deep behind the scenes of the band’s ‘Violator’ period. The book takes the form of a detailed oral history from those who were there in the studio with the band, working behind the cameras, designing sleeves and appearing in the videos; support acts, tour managers, publicists and fans. The book features detailed interviews with central figures involved with the band as they transitioned their sound and image to a stadium-friendly aesthetic, as well as those whose trusted contributions were essential for the creation of ‘Violator’.With ‘Halo’, authors Kevin May and David McElroy have produced an essential guide for Depeche Mode fans and anyone inquisitive about the making of a classic, genre-defining album.

This book describes the unholy war perpetrated by the myriad state agencies, perhaps in some cases unwittingly, against loving fathers remaining in their children's lives post- divorce or separation. The author has had 5 Ombudsman Investigations to his credit, 3 were Parliamentary, his credentials are exemplary. He has never been cautioned, charged or arrested, yet he and his children were subjected to the most appalling gender discrimination imaginable by multiple state agencies operating in secrecy. This book is a 'how to' survive, and most importantly, protect vulnerable children and parents by exposing this institutional malpractice.

Investigating the Impossible: biology offers new answers and Insights, co-written by author/investigator Steve Aspin and professional cellular biologist and geneticist Andreas Lück, PhD.The authors deploy the disciplines of cellular biology and genetics for a deep-dive investigation into mysterious cases where scientific data and recovered forensic artifacts exist for laboratory examination and analysis.Four separate, but related, subject areas are examined:1 - The authenticity and provenance of the tridactyl Nazca mummies recovered in Peru in 2015, and the extensive testing carried out by C14 dating, CT and MRI scans, DNA & PCR sequencing and tissue sampling, detailing these scientific processes for the reader;2 - The 'alien' hairs recovered from the Peter Khoury encounter in Sydney, Australia in July 1992, subsequently analyzed forensically by APEG and published by Bill Chalker in his 2005 book 'Hair of the Alien';3 - The possibility of whether hybridization between species originating from different biospheres as reported in thousands of alien abduction reports over 70 years might even be biologically possible; and -4 - How to recognize and identify disinformation and misinformation about these subject areas in the unregulated morass of the online world. The book runs to 75,000 words in length and includes 80x images: photographs, diagrams, charts and illustrations of biological and genetic processes to assist the reader in better understanding the scientific content. The work is available in three formats:- Cloth-bound hardcover with full colour illustrations, ISBN = 978-1-83615-549-2- Paperback with greyscale images, ISBN = 978-1-83615-548-5- eBook, ISBN = 978-1-83615-550-8Three Appendices, a brief Bibliography and detailed reference section of explanatory notes supplement the text. The authors have succeeded in making these often difficult scientific concepts, biological processes and descriptions of testing protocols into an engaging story. Furthermore, in attempting to explain these 'impossible' but provably real phenomena, some of their conclusions lead the reader beyond mainstream scientific consensus to explore realms entertained only by contemporary physics, mathematics and cosmology.

'Banned History' is all the juicy bits of History which were excluded from your lessons at school. It unashamedly probes into the darker side of some of Britain’s most admired leaders, as well as exploring the hateful and depraved nature of humanity across the last 5000 years. 'Banned History' answers questions which are deliberately avoided by the school curriculum due to the negative light Britain may be portrayed such as the real reason why Britain didn't bomb Auschwitz and how the Transatlantic Slave Trade came into being. Topical issues such as whether Churchill was a racist and how homophobia developed and spread across the world are explored in depth. Concepts which are too horrific to ever feature in the school curriculum are investigated to reveal how many years it takes for incest to wipe out a family; what the most effective method of torture is; and what kind of person tastes best. Written in a bright and breezy tone, 'Banned History' is full of fascinating facts such as who discovered dolphins (and who fell in love with one); why America got involved in the Vietnam war; why Russia turned communist; how Martin Luther King got his name; how many people Europe killed with their colonisation of the Americas; and when and why the British government legalised men hitting their wives. Welcome to the sort of History you definitely didn’t get taught at school.
