Even if we''re not athletes or die-hard sports fans, most of us understand the dynamics that shape teams, games, and championships. Relationships are a lot like sports, yet we tend to be confused, overwhelmed, and defeated by the process of finding our soul mate. Playing for a Championship Love compares basic concepts from the sports world to relationships, making them easy to understand. The author, Rev. Jabriel S. Ballentine, a rector at The Episcopal Church of St. John the Baptist in Orlando, Florida, shares his insight as a sports fan, priest, and hopeless romantic to remove the mystery from building successful relationship. Fr. Ballentine speaks from personal experience; he used the concept of “Championship Love” to finally meet the love of his life, after some "losing seasons," and now she is his wife. Championship Love reveals what most people are doing wrong in relationships, how to redefine the game of love as we know it, and how to build a lasting marriage that honors God.

YOU MATTER MORE THAN YOU KNOW

The Reclaimed study guide is all your being clay.  It''s about recognizing your worth as God''s masterpiece; it''s about  new story unfolding and continually being crafted by the Master Storyteller, Himself.

*Explore the way the Potter chose five women found in Jesus'' genealogy.

*Discover the way He molded and breathed new life and hope into their lives.

As Christian women we live in a foreign world where private parts and sexual preferences make it onto Facebook and Instagram; but talking about the frustrations and resentments of balancing babies in diapers and parents in Depends is taboo.  Want to clear a room?  Just talk about testicular or breast cancer, how your bowels are in an uproar, or that you and your bladder know every clean bathroom in a 100 mile radius of your home.  When it comes to discussing medical issues, we are virtually an island unto ourselves.   Afraid to ask, fear of knowing and weary of worry - these runaway feelings leave us wondering how we are to survive medical mayhem.

Surviving Medical Mayhem explores, educates and empowers the reader to experience the many avenues that medical issues take us down through candid, tell it like it is medical parables.    Difficult subjects are treated with grace and honesty using humor to cushion the pain, and Gods word to light the way.  Gain God’s perspective as you learn not only how to handle the outbreaks but to see the message behind the issues.

Surviving Medical Mayhem brings help, hope, and honesty to inspire Christian women at a time when everything is discussed except what is really important: It’s a prescription for healing with injections of humor for the soul that bring the reader from pressed to blessed.

Chef Zipora’s first book, Recipe for A Delicious Life, shares interesting anecdotes and adventures of her time traveling the world as a private chef, favorite recipes of her celebrity clients and a unique perspective of how music impacts the mood of a chef during food preparation.

What God shared in seconds took Joshua years to understand and apply what he learned.

What God shared with Joshua in seconds lasted Joshua a lifetime.

Imagine being stuck in the desert with more than a million stiff-necked, grumbling people. Your mentor has just died and God tells you to take His people into the Promised Land—a land already occupied by people with no intentions of inviting you in.

This was Joshua’s predicament. Yet in 70 seconds, God gave him the wisdom and advice he needed to succeed. What God told Joshua would enable him to become one of the most famous military and social leaders who ever lived.

What Joshua learned you can learn too!

Whether you are leading in an office, at home, or in a church, this book will reveal for you…

• Develop the new mindset you need to lead successfully

• 7 core beliefs that will change the choices you make

• How to handle adversity with faith not fear

Why do so many feel discouraged or disconnected with church?

Church people aren’t perfect.  We get that.  As Christians we are called to a high standard in terms of communicating with love, respect and honesty.  Yet how often do we observe and experience “corrupt communication” that betrays, breaks down and builds walls rather than builds up?

What we often do not know is how to plow through our muted messes and hear that cleansing, still small Voice. This book will provide you spiritual “Windex” to clean up and clarify your relationships and learn better communications skills that promote healthy, open communication and polishes, rather than tarnishes our testimony.

“Truth is choosing to be honest with God and then honest with the person in your mirror.”

Let’s stop avoiding the truth and instead embrace it.  When you do, you can expect to enjoy:

·         Ending continuous conflict in the Body of Christ

·         Learning specific verbal skills which will keep communication open and honest

·         Monitoring silent resentment from becoming permanent within the Church

·         Communicating anger without using intimidation

·         Admitting that as God’s children, we are constantly in a state of revision and renewal

·         Honestly saying, “I was wrong.”

Altar-Egos offers hope for people of faith who know they can become vibrant, positive and affirming disciples of Jesus Christ.
