A string of brutal murders has bodies piling up in Brooklyn, and Detective Frankie Donovan knows what is going on. Clues left at the crime scenes point to someone from the old neighborhood, and that isn''t good.

Frankie has taken two oaths in his life—the one he took to uphold the law when he became a cop, and the one he took with his two best friends when they were eight years old and inseparable.

Those relationships have forced Frankie to make many tough decisions, but now he faces the toughest one of his life; he has five murders to solve and one of those two friends is responsible. If Frankie lets him go, he breaks the oath he took as a cop and risks losing his job. But if he tries to bring him in, he breaks the oath he kept for twenty-five years—and risks losing his life.

In the neighborhood where Frankie Donovan grew up, you never broke an oath.

Detective Connie Giannelli''s life has been torn apart several times. First when her mother died and then years later when she found out her Uncle Dominic was in the mob. Her life is about to be shredded again, and this time it could destroy her.

Connie’s love of family and her badge are both threatened when an undercover drug bust leaves two cops dead and the drugs missing. Internal Affairs is looking for any excuse to take her badge, but she’s not worried about them finding the missing drugs—her secrets could prove to be far worse.

Now Connie’s racing against the clock to figure out who killed her partners and took the drugs—dirty cops or Uncle Dominic’s friends. And she has to do it before IA pins the whole damn thing on her.

Gino Cataldi is a man hanging on by a thread. Cancer took his wife, and drugs put his son in rehab. All he has left is his badge.

When a teenage girl is kidnapped it brings back nightmares from the worst case he ever worked—the one that tore his life to shreds and forced him out of Philadelphia.

Gino doesn''t want this case but he knows he has to take it. Not just to save the girl, but to earn redemption for what went wrong in Philly.

There is a world where things are perfect. Where drugs don’t kill people. Where politicians aren’t corrupt. A world where cops keep their oath and never cross the line.

I don’t live in that world. If I did, I’d be dead.

~ Gino Cataldi

Lisa Benz was brilliant, street smart, and full of potential. She could have had any job she wanted, but she decided to join the police force. She didn’t join to carry on a family tradition, or to fulfill a lifelong dream. She didn’t join to impress anyone or make her mark on society. She joined for one reason only—a promise she made to a young girl.

Everybody loves shortcuts. Don’t deny it; I know you do. Think of how many times you’ve been driving somewhere with a buddy, and you hit a traffic jam. How great did it feel when you could say, “Take a right at the next road. I know a shortcut.”

This is a shortcut for every-day life. If you use a keyboard to type, this book will save you time, lots of time.

You may have tried a text expansion app before, and maybe you didn’t have much luck, but this book isn’t about any particular app, it’s about a process. A process anyone can learn, and more importantly, anyone can remember.

I’m not going to call you an idiot if you don’t use it…well, maybe I will. So just pick up the book and use it. It only cost a few cups of coffee.

Publishing a book is easy. Learning how to do it right is a little more difficult. Publishing is easiest when you use the right distributors, not only do you save yourself time, but you can easily make more money in the process.

Read eBook Distribution and find out who to use and why you should use them. Look at the tables and charts that analyze the royalties paid by each distributor, which tetial stores and libraries they give you access to, and what other benefits or hindrances they might offer.

What do you do when logic tells you to do one thing, but your heart tells you to do another?

That’s the problem Nicky Fusco is facing when Rosa’s friend is kidnapped and she asks him to help.

Then Rosa brings home a video that shows her friend, Allison, being forced to do disgusting things. At that point, Nicky realizes he has no choice, so he sets out to make things right.

After being married for 25 years, I realized that I no longer wanted to be married. What should I do?

The simple answer was file for divorce, but life was seldom that simple, and mine certainly wasn’t. There was the house to consider, two cars, the jewelry—and the safe deposit box. I thought about the options and finally decided that murder was the best solution—not the easiest, but the best—and I knew just how to do it.
