Winter is here. Birger wants to go up on land and play around in the snow, but he can't because it's too cold. It's boring when you can't do whatever you want, thinks Birger. What shall I do now? The sixth book about the little Storsjö Monster is about tidying, doing the dishes and making dinner in your own way. But perhaps even more about having fun when it's boring. Readers feed-back: “The books about Birger are fantastic! These are books you’ll want to have on your bookshelf and not just borrow from the library” Ewa-Maria Wiik, Finland, about the first and second book. “If you haven’t discovered Birger yet, then please do!” Karin Ljusterdal, Västerås City Library, quote from boktips.net about the third book. “This is a really good children’s book that promotes ideas such as equality. It is a book that many children want to hear over and over again and its rich, modern language stimulates their linguistic development.” Maj-Britt Claesson, BTJ number 13105592, about the fourth book. “The book lived up to my high expectations. Just like the previous books in the series, this book is comical and exciting and moves forward at a rapid pace. I really like the colourful and extremely charming pictures. Birger is a sympathetic and sweet character whom it’s impossible not to like.” Carola Lindström, Barnboksbloggen, about the fifth book. “The best children’s book ever! I’m talking about the entire series. I have to admit that even as an adult I laugh and read them with pleasure.” Marie Byenfeldt, about the series.
