This book is in English. In her clever “haikoons,” the author has captured the very essence of each of her cats. Cats opening the blinds before she’s ready to get up. A cat retching. Another lying in the litter box. A feline pouncing on the wrinkles on freshly laundered bedding. The idiosyncrasies of her cats that make them the pets they are. All the cats playing, jumping, wrestling, and running. A line of cats watching birds outdoors intently, wishing they were there. The costs of vets retrieving items swallowed by cats with or without surgery. Which option is better: five cats or a boyfriend? She’s included many funny takes on trying to sleep with one or more cats. Carol has written “haikoons” that will resonate with anyone who has ever been around a cat or two or three or more. Her “mewsings” will have readers smiling, giggling, and agreeing with her. Cat humor as only a cat owner can write it.
