Explores the body of nude photography being made by a large group of young artists from all over the world. The collection examines the new moods and outlooks in photography engendered by the heady era that witnessed the explosion of the snapshot aesthetic, the birth of digital photos and the proliferation of online outlets for sharing and exhibiting art. As these changes shaped the means of photography, the relaxing of social mores changed the ends. The young artists of today are more open in their portrayal of sexuality in these intimate and beautiful nudes.

Comic strips, psychedelic imagery and lo-fi digital wizardry from the Paper Rad collectiveThis follow-up to the Paper Rad collective's recent hit, Paper Rad, B.J. and da Dogs, is both a return to form and a move forward. Comic strips, psychedelic imagery and the group's trademark lo-fi digital wizardry lend Pig Tales Digest the feeling of an old-school variety show. Bounding from stories, to suites of gag cartoons, to drawings of Alf, Miss Piggy and other pixillated creatures, this book literally ricochets between silly humor and serious satire, raising the house style of exuberant digital Neo-Primitivism to new heights. This well-priced, accessible sampler, featuring an introduction by the artist Donald Baechler, is sure to reach a wide audience.

Ben Jones, one third of the artist collective Paper Rad and progeny of Providence's Fort Thunder warehouse-based art scene, makes work that harks back to the Saturday morning cartoons and video games of the 1980s. Exploring the theme of masculinity, Jones' signature neon-infused images, paintings, digital pictures and built environments, Men's Group Black Math includes a 24-page comic strip about contemporary male life, plus a series of texts about manhood commissioned from men the artist admires, including artists Peter Saul and Gary Panter.

A collection of 60 drawings by Todd James, each complete unto itself and also representing a potential painting. Each has been created specifically for this book and each is of a piece with James' larger concerns: American excess as represented by the forms and fictions of sexuality, the ravages of war, and in particular, Somalian piracy. James invites viewers to glamourise these issues even as he undercuts our assumptions.

This long-awaited rich graphic novel is a cross between Thomas Pynchon, Robert Altman and J.R.R. Tolkien and has earned Thurber raves from The Comics Journal, Vice and The Fader. 1-800 MICE is an anthropological study of the imaginary city of Volcano Park (where flying mouse couriers have replaced Federal Express), with a soap-opera fractured narrative and a cast of thousands. Over the course of the story readers meet: Peace Punk, a punker on the verge of bourgeois; Tom Chief: A beat cop with an identity crisis and Groomfiend, a daffy, if driven creature who directs the story.

This fascinating insight into Jamaican dancehall music from acclaimed DJ and producer Diplo is illuminated throughout with stunning, cutting edge photography from Shane McCauley, offering a behind the scenes glimpse of this joyful but little photographed music scene. With unprecedented access to the key players in the Jamaican scene, the duo travelled through Trenchtown, visited Tuff Gong studios, Gee Jam Studios and Sugarman beach, documenting the most cutting edge music and dance with candid photographs of the players and places involved in it all.

A follow-up to the critically acclaimed and best-selling graphic novel Girl StoriesThis follow-up to Lauren Weinstein's critically acclaimed and best-selling graphic novel, Girl Stories, traces the life of a celebrated Valkyrie, great-granddaughter of Thor, from her earliest days to her present position as Goddess of War--bored, finally, of determining the outcome of all the Earth's conflicts. Produced in a deluxe, oversized format and featuring both pen-and-ink drawings and etchings, this story is actually Volume One of the continuing adventures of Valkyrie, and it follows the Goddess, who is based on the character that Weinstein plays in her rock band, Flaming Fire, from her isolated planet of vampires, wolves and volcanoes, all the way to our Earth, where she abandons her post and takes up with her lover, the Apache Chief. Vengeance ensues. A favorite with librarians and graphic novel buyers, Weinstein has been included in a variety of important collections, including The Anthology of Graphic Fiction and The Best American Comics.

The Powr Mastrs series tells the multi-volume tale of a misguided scientist, the race of beings he has created and the union between them - all of which is set in a surreal world called New China. The third volume in C.F.'s Dune-like science fiction/fantasy epic overflows with graphic ideas, from the intricately designed clothes each character wears to the exactly drawn architectural detail rendered in C.F.'s distinctive pencil line.

In 2012 C.F. began to produce a series of more than a dozen mini-comics, which he distributed via Twitter. Each mini-comic offered a take on, and expansion upon, a classic comic strip genre-from crime and sci-fi to punk and sex-all of them infused throughout by C.F.'s absurdist humour and loose improvisatory drawing. Those comics, along with unpublished art and photos, are collected here. Introduction by Nicole Rudick.

This hotly anticipated collection draws the reader into the world of Negron, a vivid streetscape populated with edgy fashionistas, gangster men and fantastic scenarios. Also includes all-new comic strips created especially for the book, lists of the artist's favourite things and even a few photos. These highly erotic drawings occupy a space between the very best of fashion illustration, video games and street art.

A collection of 30 years of drawings by Chris Martin, selected in conjunction with the artist, showing how he has pushed the boundaries between the most sophisticated formalism and outsider art's instinctive logic. Martin chronologically presents drawings from all phases of his career as he discovers new forms, from undulating sound waves to mushrooms to tantric arches to the iconic visages of James Brown and Sigmar Polke. On the New York painting scene he has influenced a wave of painters for whom his catholic tastes and loose sensibility are inspirational.
