Behind enemy lines on the island of Saipan-where firing a gun could mean instant discovery and death-the 40 Thieves killed in silence during the grueling battle for Saipan, the D-Day of the Pacific.Now Joseph Tachovsky-whose father Frank was the commanding officer of the 40 Thieves, also called Tachovsky's Terrors-joins with award-winning author Cynthia Kraack to transport listeners back to the brutal Battle of Saipan. Built on hours of personal interviews with WWII veterans, their personal papers, letters, and documentation from the National Archives, 40 Thieves on Saipan is an astonishing portrayal of elite World War II combat. It's also a rare glimpse into the lives of World War II Marines. The poorest equipped branch of the services at that time, Marines were notorious thieves. To improve their odds for victory against the Japanese, they found it necessary to improve their supply chains through "e;Marine Methods"e; -stealing. Being the elite of the Sixth Regiment, the Scout-Sniper Platoon excelled at the craft-earning them the nickname of the "e;40 Thieves"e; from their envious peers. Upon returning from a 1943 trip to the Pacific theater, Eleanor Roosevelt observed, "e;The Marines I have met around the world have the cleanest bodies, the filthiest minds, the highest morale and the lowest morals of any group of animals I have ever seen. Thank God for the United States Marines."e;

For six months, Army Captain Matt C. Pinsker was deployed to the Mexican-American border as a member of a unique mission. He and a handful of others were assigned to the Department of Justice as Special Prosecutors to handle the increasing number of immigration cases resulting from President Trump's "e;zero tolerance"e; policy.Once arrived, Captain Pinsker found himself dead center handling the near-impossible challenges of America's immigration crisis. Overnight, he was directly involved in family separations, DACA, asylum seekers and refugees, the war on drugs, gun-running, the Mexican cartels, caravans, and human trafficking. And every day, he was making decisions that would permanently affect those whose lives he touched.In the course of these official interactions, Pinsker experienced some unexpected gut punches. Over weeks, then months, he discovered that the situation at the border was far more dangerous than most Americans realized, simultaneously creating a massive humanitarian crisis both at home and abroad. In this stunning book, Captain Pinsker describes a constant cycle of violence, human trafficking, and drug smuggling. He reveals how vulnerable immigrants are preyed upon and exploited en route to the border. As Captain Pinsker shares what took place on his watch-from separating refugee families to protecting them from the barbarism of Mexican drug cartels-he delivers an indictment of America's failure to fix its broken immigration system and truly secure its border.

When Attorney General Jeff Sessions resigned in November 2018, two years after Donald Trump's surprise electoral victory, a political outsider named Matthew Whitaker became Acting Attorney General of the United States.Now Whitaker shares the shocking truth that he discovered when he temporarily became head of the Justice Department: that so-called public servants, the people charged with upholding our nation's founding principle of "e;equal justice under law,"e; have abandoned that principle in order to advance a vicious partisan vendetta against President Trump.

If you want to know how far-left a Joe Biden presidency would be, you need look no further than his own words. His rhetoric may not be as fiery as that of Bernie Sanders, but make no mistake: he holds essentially the same policy positions.Bestselling author and former Hoover Institute fellow George Neumayr lays out the truth the media won't tell you: that Blue-collar Joe disappeared decades ago. He is far more comfortable on the Ellen show than on the streets of Scranton. He has given up Amtrak for private jets, and, like his lobbyist brother and grifter son, has cashed in on his last name.While the media and Democrat establishment-eager to dupe independents and Never-Trump Republicans-spin talking points to paint Biden as the moderate and lovable "e;Uncle Joe"e;, the reality is a Biden presidency threatens to return America to the disastrous and radical left-wing politics and policies of the Obama era.

Socialists and feminists have long targeted the family as an enemy, even the enemy. For socialists, the family is an obstacle to the full power of the progressive state. For feminists, the family denies female independence and equality. Today, however, the battle has grown even fiercer, as socialists and feminists have found a global ally in the United Nations, which is using its extraordinary power to undercut the authority and the sanctity of the family around the world-even in the United States. International policy advisor Kimberly Ells exposes this unholy alliance between globalist liberals, feminists, and socialists and unveils the shocking harm being done, right now, to women and children in America and around the world.
