Winner of Sequential Magazine's Best Comic and Favourite Artist. Jolanda O'Bryne had it all... a loving husband, a great career as a Judo instructor, and a heart for helping others. It was that heart that led her to Cambodia where she sought to help clear land mines to save children from death and ruin. It is not until she accidentally trips one of the mines, that she discovers just how resilient she can be. After losing her arms, and gaining cybernetic prosthetics, Jolanda must use her fists and her kung fu skills to right the wrongs of her husband's sordid military past. Exploring loss, recovering from a major injury, tragedy, marriage, and redemption, RESILIENT, is a heartfelt action/ adventure romp about perseverance, doing what's right even when the odds are against you and kicking all kinds of crazy ass.
