St Shenouda Monastery – förlag

"This book explains the view of our Orthodox church regarding the Nature of Christ.

It tells you that it is One Nature formed of two natures, united without mixture, nor mingling, not confused…. perfect Divinity and perfect Humanity. We do not speak of two natures after their being united in the Virgin’s womb.

What verses of the Holy Bible prove this? What do we understand from examples of the indivisability between iron and fire and between the soul and the body? What verses on the term “Son of Man” do prove the One Nature?

What about the One Nature and the birth of Christ? What about the One Nature and the Redemption?

This book tells you about all this and about the One will."

H. H Pope Shenouda III

Do you lead a life of true faith?  Do you have the practical, living and fruitful faith that grows within your heart day after day...?  What is faith then?  What is its importance and what kinds of faith are there?  What is simple faith?  Where does faith stand compared to the intellect and the senses?  What is the relationship between faith and virtues?  What is the life of submission?  What things strengthen faith and what weakens it?  All these topics and others will be discussed in this book openly.

His Holiness the Late Pope Shenouda III was Pope and Patriarch of the Coptic Orthodox Church and was, among many things, a prolific writer, sermon giver and teacher of Christian spirituality.

Do you know God?

Have you started your relationship with Him?

Is your relationship with God growing to the extent that He is the priority in all your cares and feelings?

Has your relationship with Him grown till He became your goal and portion in life?

Can you tell Him “Besides you I desire nothing from the world?”

These are a series of topics about God and Man. This book talks about the first of its component’s.  This book deals with these issues from an Orthodox Christian perspective.  Pope Shenouda III

This is the second edition which has been fully revised and edited for english readers.

This book tells you about your internal and external spiritual wars, specifically; the war of your self, emptiness, forgetfulness, doubt, fear, thoughts, outer appearances, sins of the tongue, cruelty of heart, spiritual lukewarmness, sadness, love of praise, love of honour and violence. It treats the causes, the signs and offers remedies for them all.

This book discusses christian spiritual fasting in detail and is of great benefit to all who want to understand why we fast and it's benefits.

Pope Shenouda was Pope and Patriach of the Coptic Orthodox Church.

We read in the creation story that Adam and Eve "heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day" (Gn3: 8), This is how God wants to relate to us today as well. It is God's desire to walk with and to communicate with His children. He wants to talk to us and we talk to Him. There is more good news; He hears us and we can hear His voice. The Bible, God's love letter to mankind, makes it clear that we were created to have two-way communication with Him.

The greatest need of our time is for people to experience the living reality of God by hearing His Word personally and His transforming power in Scripture. In this book we will go in a journey where we can learn to speak to God and hear his voice.
