When Shay Zucconi's step-grandmother died, she left Shay a tulip farm-under two conditions.

First, Shay has to move home to the small town of Friendship, Rhode Island. Second-and most problematic since her fiancé just called off the wedding-Shay must be married within one year.

Marriage is the last thing in the world Shay wants but she'll do anything to save the only real home she's ever known.

Noah Barden loved Shay Zucconi back in high school. Not that he ever told her. He was too shy, too awkward, too painfully uncool to ask out the beautiful, popular girl.

A lifetime later, Noah is a single dad to his niece and has his hands full running the family business. That old crush is the farthest thing from his mind.

Until Shay returns to their hometown and turns his life upside down.

Former Navy SEAL turned covert agent Wes Halsted spent his days-and weeks and months-being someone else. But with his cover blown and his injuries requiring months of recuperation, he must learn how to be himself again.

Only...he'd rather save his issues for another day and get to know a stressed-out, suited-up businessman instead.

Tom Esbeck has everything under control. Meal plans, workout plans, project plans, five-year plans. A plan for everything and everything according to plan.

Except there's no plan for a surprise-and shirtless-encounter with the built-for-sin spy he'd crushed on years ago.

But crushes-and spies-burn out fast.

MISSING IN ACTION is a full-length steamy contemporary romance standalone with strong ties to the Walsh Series.

'Twas the weekend before Christmas, when all through the North End

Not a Walsh had his life together, not even his friends;

The parties were planned by the foodies with care,

In hopes that Wes and Erin would soon find their way there;

The men were stressing over last minute shopping lists and plans,

While the ladies were busy with work and nesting and finding the right paella pans;

When out in the dining room there arose such a clatter,

The Halsted dogs sprang from their beds to see what was the matter;

They whistled and shouted and called each other names,

While the secrets and announcements and surprises quickly came;

So onto another adventure they flew

With the sleigh full of Walshes, and the Commodore too--

As they continued arguing and clamoring around,

Down the road an unexpected visitor came with a bound;

But it wasn't long until couples were all nestled snug in their beds,

With new memories of steamy holiday nights dancing in their heads.
