In a race against time, the unflappable Phileas Fogg can't afford to lose his cool . . .

One evening, while relaxing after dinner at his gentlemen's club, Phileas Fogg rashly bets his companions that he can travel around the entire globe in eighty days—and he is determined not to lose.Breaking the well-established routine of his daily life, the coll-headed Englishman and his hot-blooded French manservant Passepartout immediately set off for Dover. Whether travelling by train, steamship, sailing boat, sledge or even elephant, they must overcome storms, kidnappings, natural disasters, Sioux attacks and Inspector Fix of Scotland Yard—who believes Fogg has robbed the Bank of England—to win this extraordinary wager.
