In this personal story, Dawn Dreyfuss shares intimate details with vivid descriptions of what abuse looks like and feels like. But she doesn't leave you there. She introduces you to the God that set her free. In this intensely personal memoir, you'll laugh, weep, and rejoice as you see yourself through her experiences. From her own mistakes, she offers you nuggets of wisdom and guidance imparted to her by a loving God who longs to make Himself known to you. Due to physical, mental and emotional abuse she suffered as a child, she became paralyzed in her mind and emotions. Her fears produced rebellion that led to years of addiction. When she had no voice, she let God into the broken places in her heart to bring healing. God gave her a voice to speak up and stand up not only for herself, but for everyone else who's hurting and needs restoration. Her stories, whether written in memoir format or poetry, all contain the same message - pain that finds redemption and wholeness. Discover how her story will inspire you to: Face the broken places in your life. Make healthier choices, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. Stop blaming others and take personal responsibility. Realize that no matter what mistakes you've made there is forgiveness. Receive healing for yourself and spread it to others. Embrace the dreams and visions you want to accomplish.
