When the rest of Sunnydale falls asleep each night, Buffy and her friends are just starting their day. In this adorable bedtime picture book, readers will follow along with their favorite characters as they stay up late protecting the town, reading ancient texts as their bedtime stories, or casting spells that keep the children of Sunnydale sleeping peacefully. With cute illustrations of Buffy, Willow, Xander, Giles, and their friends, and a glow-in-the-dark cover, this picture book brings familiar moments from the show to life in a brand-new way.

With storytelling reminiscent of The Velveteen Rabbit, Anderson and Potocka work to show the Dala’s journey. Vivid illustrations are full of expression, bringing to life the Dala and the Juletide traditions. This is a wonderful addition to any library and would be well suited for children of all ages. –Jessica Clark, School Library Journal
