Cue the spotlight! Sophie is ready to shake things up and steal the show in this laugh-out-loud, utterly original picture book perfect for fans of Eloise and Olivia.

Sophie was BORN to be a star. But somehow in the annual production of The Nutcracker, Sophie is never cast as one of the cute, tutu-wearing flowers or peppermint drops. No, Sophie is always a RAT. But if it’s her destiny to be a rat, then Sophie is determined to be the RAT KING! And the audience is in for a show like they’ve never seen before…

Bursting with humor, chaotic energy, and perhaps a few delusions of grandeur, Starring Sophie is a laugh-out-loud romp in the tradition of Eloise, Olivia, and Fancy Nancy, perfect for young readers who dream of the spotlight.
