From the author-illustrator of Children's Choice Book Award Winner I'm Trying to Love Spiders: a plea to please give bees a chance! Not sure whether to high-five bees or run away from them? Well, maybe you shouldn't high-five them, but you definitely don't have to run away from them. Give Bees a Chance is for anyone who doesn't quite appreciate how extra special and important bees are to the world, and even to humankind! Besides making yummy honey, they help plants grow fruits and vegetables. And most bees wouldn't hurt a fly (unless it was in self-defense!). Bethany Barton's interactive cartoon-style illustrations and hilarious narrator mean this book is full of facts and fun. With bees officially on the endangered animals list, it's more important now than ever to get on board with our flying, honey-making friends!

Children's Choice Award winner Bethany Barton tackles the digestive system and all the farts that come along with it!As long as there have been people, there have been farts. And as long as there have been farts, they've been hilarious! Join Bethany Barton, creator of the award-winning I'm trying to Love  . . . series, as she explores the digestive system, how food becomes energy, and what our bodies do with what is left over.Equal parts funny and informative, I'm Trying to Love Farts will leave you with a whole new appreciation for our bodily gases.

From the author of the I'm Trying to Love series comes a picture book that dives headfirst into what screen time does to our brains and what we can do about it. You have a brain! And your brain might love screens a little too much. What happens when screen time leaves us feeling tired, angry and frustrated — or even makes it harder to control our impulses? Just like our bodies can react to too much sugary junk food (sugar crash, anyone?) our brains can react to too much junk tech! In Brain vs. Screen, Bethany Barton breaks down how dopamine affects our relationship with screens, what too much screen time does to our brains, and how to know when we've had enough.

Not sure whether to high-five bees or run away from them? Well, maybe you shouldn't high-five them, but you definitely don't have to run away from them. In this enthusiastic, hands-on approach to bees, the book's narrator will convince the pizza-loving bee skeptic - and you - of just how cool bees really are. Did you know that 98 percent of bees are girls? Or that they have two stomachs (which would come in handy for more pizza eating)? Bethany Barton's hilarious text and kid-friendly illustrations will have you singing the praises of our buzzing neighbours - or at least will convince you to give bees a chance.
