The last genetic infantryman, crossing a landscape scarred by the raging war between Norts and Southers, Rogue Trooper hunts down the Traitor General, who betrayed his men and caused their slaughter. Repackaged in a brand new edition, The Complete Rogue Trooper collects the adventures of one of 2000 AD’s best-loved and most enduring characters, originally created by Gerry Finley-Day and Dave Gibbons, and featuring the work of Alan Moore and veteran artists Cam Kennedy and Colin Wilson.

The first of a new series in the Essential line featuring 2000 AD’s legendary war machine, Rogue Trooper! Rogue Trooper is the last of the G.I.s – genetically-engineered infantrymen designed to withstand the noxious atmosphere of Nu-Earth, a planet ravaged by the conflict between Norts and Southers. The lone survivor of the Quartz Zone Massacre, equipped with the bio-chips of his fallen clone brothers, he crosses the war-torn landscape in search of the Traitor General, the man responsible for their deaths – and he will not rest until he has his revenge! The first volume in the Essential series features stories by creators Gerry Finley-Day and Dave Gibbons (Watchmen), with art by Colin Wilson (Judge Dredd), Cam Kennedy (Star Wars: Dark Empire), and Brett Ewins (Bad Company, Skreemer).

The second volume in the Essential line featuring 2000 AD’s legendary war machine, Rogue Trooper! Rogue Trooper, the last of the GIs, continues his hunt for the man responsible for the Quartz Zone Massacre, which cost the lives of his comrades. After narrowing his list of suspects to four high-ranking officers, Rogue travels to a downed satellite which serves as the hideout of the Marauders, a renegade force of deserters and space bandits. But the hunter becomes the hunted when Rogue falls into a trap set by the Marauders’ leader – the Traitor General himself! Written by Gerry Finley-Day and Gordon Rennie, with art by Cam Kennedy, Colin Wilson and P.J. Holden, this volume concludes the hunt for the Traitor General.
