While this book appears to be a childrens book, the dilemma it poses is true for everyone throughout their lives. I hope that it will challenge readers: whether they are a child, parent or grandparent, to reflect on how this story applies to their lives. Moreover, if parent or grandparent is sharing the story with a child, I hope they would share how this story relates to their lives. Remember, stories were the way we passed down history - in this case family history.
