Throughout the story, Cordaee engages with his classmate Luis at the FranThel Public Library. They converse about Cordaee brother, Lyniell, and his height and reference skyscrapers they discussed in class. While at the library, Luis interrogates Cordaee to understand why Cordaee applauds his brother.
