Ben Hunter has a miserable life -- M-I-S-E-R-A-B-L-E! His sister will only talk to him through text messages, his mom won''t let him eat sugar or even go for a bike ride unchaperoned, and a bully at school steals all of his friends. Told in Ben''s voice, through entries from his school journal with commentary from his teacher, this very funny and often poignant narrative chronicles an eventful year in the life of a thoughtful fourth grader.
Once upon a time, while Fox was visiting the land of Holiday Treats, a little cookie - still warm from the bakery oven - burst out the front door looking sweet and ready to be devoured. But, as it turns out, Cookie is not as fast as he thinks and when Fox finally catches him, they’re both in for a big surprise: Sugar Cookie does not taste delicious - and he’s certainly not fit to be eaten. What’s an unsavoury cookie to do? Is there another option for this not-so-sweet treat?
