A card game that takes place within the tumultuous world of history’s royal courts, where fortune can be lost as quickly as it is won. Try to keep your head! In this 2–5 player game, you are a powerful noble, defending your royals and trying to behead those of your opponents. Choose your royal family: the Tudors, Louis XVI and Marie Antoinette’s, the Borgias, Ferdinand II of Aragon's, or the Habsburgs. On each turn, all players reveal a Royal Status card to score points for one of their royals. But beware of your ambition – if another noble plays the same royal rank, the highest-scoring one among them loses their head. If the fates are against you, you might encounter the King's executioner, the Princess's herbalist or the advisor's spy. If they smile on you, escape with a royal guard or the jester. In this battle of wits, secure the highest prestige for your court, while trying to sabotage your rivals. The game is highly illustrated with beautiful artwork by Eleni Kalorkoti and is packed with fun, historical detail, provided by historian Catherine Fletcher. Inside the compact and beautifully designed box, find an accompanying booklet, giving context and colour to each royal character.

Grab your boots and spade because it’s time to dig up the past! In this memory and matching game, each character has lost something they treasure – and it’s up to the players to help them find it. From a glittering amulet to a prized helmet or even a favourite comb, players must race to find and match the two halves of as many missing objects as possible. But beware – not everything that glitters is gold! Wriggly worms, empty cans and stray buttons lie hidden among the treasures. With richly illustrated character cards and object tiles, Dig! is designed to spark young imaginations and bring archaeological discoveries to life. Unfold the poster to learn about the eighteen artefacts included in the game. Each object has been chosen for its real-world significance, encouraging children to connect the items with the lives and cultures of the past. Discover the first map of the night sky, used by ancient farmers to guide the sowing and harvesting of crops, and the Aztec mask made to honour a powerful Fire God. You’ll even learn about one the oldest sculptures in the world – which is smaller than a banana! Whether in the classroom or at home, the poster turns Dig! into a springboard for exploring history, diverse cultures, and the everyday objects people have treasured across time.
