Mira is finally reunited with Soul Howl, but there’s no time to reminisce! The two face the powerful Machina Guardian, a raid boss that required all Nine Wise Men to defeat back in their gaming days. To make matters worse, this enemy now has learning capabilities like never before. Is there an ingenious strategy that will get Mira and Soul Howl out of this bind? Whatever it is, they better find it quick, or their reunion will be short-lived…

Mira follows Fuzzy Dice to the city of Haxthausen, hoping to finally catch up to the legendary thief and learn the whereabouts of Wise Man Artesia. There, she teams up with Detective Wolf and his assistant Julius to capture the cat burglar once and for all. But as the trio scrutinise the clues, they can’t help but wonder - could the thief be the Wise Man herself?

With Artesia successfully accounted for, Mira returns to Lunatic Lake for a well-deserved break from her hunt for the missing Wise Men. There she runs into Emilia, a student obsessed with the legendary Danblf, and decides to take the girl under her wing. But when graffiti is found on a portrait of Danblf, Mira is too furious to stand by. She disguises herself as a student and brings Emilia along to seek the culprit!
