Isaac Spellman – illustratör

Mystery meets romance in this love themed literary puzzle with a playful twist. Twenty celebrated writers from the world of romance are gathered for an opulent masquerade ball – but beneath the glittering festivities lies a hidden motive. The host has been receiving gifts and anonymous love letters, each laced with riddles and coded clues that hint at the sender’s true identity. The suspects? The twenty guests in attendance. Tonight, the secret admirer will be unmasked – with your help. Assemble the puzzle, examine the clues, and study the evidence on the fold-out to uncover the mysterious letter writer. Spellman’s lavish, highly-detailed illustration brings the 1920s ballroom to life, building a rich scene that will engross puzzlers for hours. The jigsaw includes a number of romance themed Easter eggs for those with eagle eyes to spot, including six famous artworks titled The Kiss. Armchair detectives will also enjoy the ‘puzzle in the puzzle’, which require following the clues and using their powers of deduction to reveal the identity of the secret admirer.
