Roman Rhodes is a seasoned adventurer and part-time podcaster who's drawn into more than he ever bargained for when his sister vanishes under mysterious circumstances. His search leads him far from familiar terrain and deep into the hidden folds of Chinese mythology, where ancient powers stir and the world of myth collides with modern danger.Along the way, Roman uncovers clues that point toward a legendary realm of gods, beasts, and forgotten rituals-a place where the boundary between the living and the divine becomes dangerously thin. As he delves deeper he must navigate odd allies, shadow-agents, and enemies who operate between the everyday and the supernatural. His sister's disappearance isn't just a personal loss-it's a thread that, when pulled, threatens to unravel mythic secrets long buried.Forced to redefine what "adventure" means, Roman must rely on his instincts, his wit as a podcaster who probes hidden truths, and his willingness to step into realms few dare to cross. Roman's quest becomes both rescue mission and mythic odyssey. He fights not just for family, but for the fate of forces far older than any of them imagined. Roman's Rise blends high-stakes action, exotic mythic lore, and a hero whose journey is as much about discovering himself as saving someone he loves.
