SWORDS AND SORCERY! PSYCHIC BATTLES?! MAGICAL GIRLS?!?! Tired and unfulfilled by his dead-end job, Sasaki decides to adopt Peeps, an adorable pet Java sparrow. Peeps, however, is really Piercarlo, a powerful sage from another world! After Peeps bestows Sasaki with magic and the ability to cross worlds, the two decide to export household items for profit in pursuit of a leisurely lifestyle. But when Sasaki’s new magic gets him mixed up in a whole other kind of supernatural struggle back in Japan, will it destroy his chances at realizing the relaxing life of his dreams?

LUCRATIVE ALLIANCES AND DIRTY DEALS… Sasaki’s pet bird (and otherworld sage) Peeps has gifted him with powerful magic and the ability to cross between worlds, all to game the multidimensional system and live the good life. Due to unforeseen circumstances on both sides, though, things aren’t going as planned. Sasaki’s job as a government psychic isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, and with a magical girl out for blood, a neighbor giving in to dark temptations, and a former enemy changing sides, Sasaki and Peeps are looking at a big traffic jam on their road to success!

Sasaki and his pet bird (and otherworld sage), Peeps, continue to leap across worlds, trading goods for a profit. Thanks to a little help from Futarishizuka, they’ve found a way to exchange otherworld valuables for modern currency, and Sasaki has been practicing his spells, making him unstoppable against psychics and magical girls. All that’s left is to make as much money as they can, retire, and start relaxing—but that won’t be so easy. In Peeps’s world, the dispute over succession begins in earnest, and back home, the psychic battles never stop. Not to mention Sasaki’s neighbor, who finds herself caught up in an angels vs. demons death game...As worlds collide, Sasaki is in for even more chaos!

OCTODRAGON, HORROR OF THE DEEP! Thanks to Peeps getting a little lost in the sauce, the whole world has found out about the base where Sasaki and Futarishizuka were keeping Lady Elsa. When Sasaki’s various acquaintances show up there looking for him, bullets and magic fly as the carefully built boundaries in his life come crashing down. Meanwhile, Sasaki gets a new assignment—dealing with a giant sea monster in the north Pacific! Between this rampaging octodragon(?) and distressing new developments in the proxy war, can Peeps and his exhausted owner manage to save Japan and—more importantly—get some rest?

A VERY UNRELAXING VACATION! Life in Japan is hectic as always for Sasaki, even when he finally scores some time off work. With their apartment complex in ruins, he and his neighbor must now find new places to live. And as if that isn’t stressful enough, a riot breaks out right next to Miss Hoshizaki’s condo, so of course Sasaki and Futarishizuka come to the rescue…in disguise?! Meanwhile, in the otherworld, the succession dispute takes a drastic turn when Prince Lewis launches an offensive against the Ohgen Empire, forcing Sasaki and Peeps to go undercover to save Herz. When exactly are they supposed to relax again?

TROUBLE FROM BEYOND THE STARS! With the Herzian succession dispute now settled, Sasaki and Peeps head back to modern Japan just in time for a new case at the bureau. Along with Futarishizuka and Hoshizaki, Sasaki is tasked with investigating a series of recent UFO sightings, and for once the assignment appears to have nothing to do with the otherworld. Exhausted from their earlier ordeals and lacking clues, the crew decide to take it slow and leave the heavy lifting to the experts. But for better or worse, they seem destined to wind up in the spotlight, as yet another powerful faction explodes onto the scene!

PLAYING HOUSE TO SAVE THE WORLD! The alien behind the recent UFO trouble, nicknamed Type Twelve, insists on forming a pretend family with Sasaki and the others to help curb her loneliness. While she is beginning to see value in human civilization, Sasaki and Futarishizuka are still hoping to send her home ASAP. At the same time, a suspicious website invites those involved in the proxy war to duke it out on a remote island. It may seem like our heroes are just goofing off, but the fight for humanity’s future rages on. This middle-aged man and his pet Java sparrow can’t take it easy yet!

Sasaki and Peeps is a fun mixture of isekai (another world) and slice-of-life with a story that goes back and forth between the real and fantasy worlds, featuring an older salaryman protagonist unlike any other seen in a Yen On series!

After giving up on school, Type Twelve moves on to her next fixation—the internet! Her passion for online popularity quickly sparks a family-wide view count competition. But while this might sound like a fun diversion, there's more at stake than just self-esteem—whoever comes in last will have to grant one request from the winner. If he doesn't want anyone to upend his life, Sasaki will have to take this little game very seriously. Meanwhile, the neighbor makes her digital debut…as a VTuber!
