This is a fairy-tale poetry based on a Russian classical tale.

Matilda loves dressing up her long-suffering dog, Basil. Day and night she parades him in a series of outfits, from tutus to superhero costumes none of them suited to a big clumsy Labrador who would rather just wear his collar. But one day Matildas mum decides to come to his rescue. She takes Matilda and her siblings to the zoo. As they look at the animals, she paints a picture for the children with her words, helping them to see how silly the animals would look if they were dressed up in a variety of outrageous costumes. Will Matilda take the lesson to heart and stop having dog dress-up days for poor Basil?

Although Sam, Cleos dog, is enormous, he is a real wimp. Cleos mum urges him to be brave because he is frightened of everything; even Punky the poodle from down the road and Fat Felix, the cat who hangs around the park. But one day when some bullies decide to pick on Cleo as she skips off to school, Sam suddenly finds the courage to defend her and also lands himself a splendid daytime job!

I am a grandmother who has finally decided to print some of my many Willie Worm Stories. My Children then Grandchildren have enjoyed the many adventures of Willie and Wendy Worm. I hope many more children will experience the suspense and excitement of these short stories. They need to be read to pre-schoolers by someone who can put a lot of expression into the story. The children love acting the characters after they have become familiar with the story line.Hopefully they will look forward to more stories about Willie and Wendy Worm.

Once upon a lifetime, in two kingdoms lived Prince Grier and Princess Lexi, who both suffered from the same terminal illness. And although they were apart and lived two very different lives, they discovered they were joined together in a special way. It was through this connection that they set sail on many adventures together and learned how to use their gifts and talents to spread their love and light to all.

This particular childrens book was inspired by one of my dogs, Jake. He would sit and watch every word I would say to him and move his mouth as if he wanted to say something back, but nothing happened. No barking, no howling, just air sounds. It was so cute that I had to write about it. I hope it makes children laugh and realize that even if you cant do something, its okay and that you are perfect just the way you are.

I have enjoyed writing most of my life. I wrote bulletin articles for the church bulletin and have some 1,200 of them saved somewhere. I have a vivid imagination for it comes very easy. We had a mare named Molly when I was a kid. I rode her a million miles (not really). She was a great horse. I loved her a lot. When I began thinking about the Topsy story, the name was the first one I came up with. We also had a pony named Topsy; my older sister and I rode her for a long time. She originally belonged to Miss America Jo Carol Denison (1948), so came the name of Topsy for my fictional colt. The second character in the book is the little red fox, Swifty. She actually was real too. I looked out that morning and saw her sitting in my driveway. That part of the book is real. I began to write myself notes to use in the book. I had planned to have two books, but thought it would be fun to combine them, so here is the one book.

When Jos big toe starts tingling, he knows its time to help his family out. But what happens to his daddys car when Jo decides to give it more clout?

Nicky was an extraordinary dog who endured many calamities. First, he was cooped up in a box sealed with duct tape but managed to escape. Then he fell in a deep hole and stayed there for three days until he was found; came within a hair of being run over by a big truck; was attacked by two big dogs and required numerous stitches and was run over by a riding mower twice. Despite all this, he lived to a relatively old age of thirteen, which is over ninety-one years old in human years.

These books were written through the eyes of a child with the hope that the younger children would hear and the older children would read that what they imagine or fear in their minds may not be as bad or scary as they might think. The wording is simple enough for beginning readers to read and for the younger children to comprehend. The subject matter is set as to what could be a major or new, unknown event that might occur in a childs life. It is the desire of the author to soothe the child and give the parents, grandparents, teens, or any other person in the childs life a way to communicate with the child and help the child understand how to deal with their emotions during these major events that seem so trivial to others. Please enjoy them and may all those that read them be blessed by their messages.
