This unique 1000-piece jigsaw puzzle features the iconic French queen Marie Antoinette and celebrates her world in Maria Rivans' irreverent and eye-catching signature style. Tragically misunderstood or frivolous and out of touch? Marie Antoinette has divided her critics over the centuries, but there is no doubt that she is a much-loved style icon, flaunting the punkiest vibes of 19th-century French fashion. In Maria Rivans' most enjoyable collage to date, Marie Antoinette's world is brought to life with the most spectacular hairstyle, incorporating doves, ships, clocks, her family and dogs, palaces, costumes, shoes, thrones and, of course, that necklace! The accompanying booklet adds context to many of the artefacts featured, explaining their relevance to the French queen's life, making this not only an enjoyable puzzle to do, but a fascinating piece of history to discover.
