Giant George and Little Leo is a heartfelt story about a giraffe and a leopard cub. George is huge. He towers over all the other giraffes, and they tease him because of his height. He has no friends, until one day, he rescues a baby leopard cub called Leo. Leo has gotten stuck in a tree. The leopards are so happy to have Leo safe and sound that they commit to protect the giraffes from any enemies, and George becomes a hero and finally has friends.

Teaching English is a big challenge to the ESL students as well as native speakers. Especially making someone read English has always been another big challenge for the teachers. It may take years to teach how to read English correctly, unless we get an effective way of teaching method. After many years of research, I could find out an effective way that could help students understand the phonetics easily and read English words effectively in a short period of time. I applied this method with my students, and the results were tremendous. So in order to reduce teachers stress, I decided to share my experience through this book.

Why I Wrote Herbie the Hamster Searches for FriendsWhen my children were young, we had several pets around the house. My oldest daughter, Leah, brought a hamster home from school, and the girls named him Herbie. Although Herbie lived in a hamster habitat, he managed to get out of the cage from time to time when someone forgot to close his cage door. As a father of four kids, I was always trying to teach them things I had learned during my life. I had witnessed how some people always believed they weren''t good enough, or smart enough, or pretty enough, etc., so part of the story I tell in Herbie the Hamster is that a person''s happiness comes from feeling good about himself or herself. I have also seen kids being mean to someone, or making wrong choices in life, and going down the wrong road. The other part of the story is to say that you need to pick your friends carefully, or you might head down the wrong path, too!

Cully is a five-year-old boy who has been inside all day because of the wet and cold weather. He sees his new bike leaning against the garage wall and he becomes impatient to go and ride it. However, his mother says he cant because it is raining and cold so Cully throws a tantrum hoping to persuade his mother to change her mind. Cully then experiences a range of emotions throughout the course of the tantrum. There are suggestions for educators to guide children through Cullys experience and identify themselves in similar situations. Cullys Tantrum simply explores the power children can gain by identifying and understanding their emotions.

The "Willie" stories were written for her grandchildren, butthey were also enjoyed by the students she worked with, soshe decided to share the stories with all children. Willie andBo are pets owned by Margaret and her husband, and for themost part the "Willie" stories depict their true behavior.

Duffy and Huffys Surprising Adventure is truly an intriguing fantasy book. Two brown bears experienced a thrilling and chilling expedition through a dark and frightening forest searching for hidden treasures. As the little bears searched the woods for the treasure, a severe storm occurred. The bears find themselves in the midst of a terrifying situation. They discovered a little mountain lion. Thus, the plot changed.Duffy and Huffys Surprising Adventure is designed for young children, ages 6-9 years old. In the classroom, this book would be an excellent story to read during guided and shared reading or for silent reading time. At home, it would be a great book for a child to snuggle in a blanket to read quietly while enjoying a glass of warm milk or hot chocolate; It can also be an excellent bed time story book.
