Max's desk is so messy that his teacher makes him stay in during break time to clean it. Thankfully Zoe stays to help him. While cleaning, they find a month of homework buried in the mess. Max has a lot of work to do before he can go out and play in the snow.

Max is having trouble taking care of his library books, and Zoe is ready to help him. She explains that folding the pages into dog ears is not good book manners. Max needs to find a way to show the librarian that he has learned his lesson and will take better care of the books.

Max is planning a big surprise for Mother's Day, but he needs Zoe's help. If everything goes as planned, this could be the best Mother's Day ever!

Max thinks of the perfect science project. Now he just needs his dog, Buddy, to cooperate!

On April Fool's Day, Max plays lots of tricks on Zoe. Max must learn when tricks are funny and when they are hurtful or he might lose his friendship with Zoe forever.
