A college student finds herself resurrected as Eumiella, an evil daughter of the nobility in the world of an Otome RPG that she played in her previous life. In the RPG, Eumiella isn't worth thinking about at first, but in the endgame content she returns as a hidden boss, complete with ridiculous stats that put her on par with even the game's heroes. After being essentially abandoned by her parents at their family domain, the flames of Eumiella's former gamer soul are ignited, and she takes to leveling, and leveling, and leveling, until... at the time of enrolling in the Royal Academy, she discovers that she is level 99. Though she'd originally planned to live a peaceful and discreet life, the game's heroine and her love interests suspect that Eumiella is in fact the infamous Demon Lord. These ridiculous powers invite all manner of trials and tribulations. So begins the fantasy tale of a most powerful, evil hidden boss (who wishes she could just live a life of peace and quiet).

This truth, known only by a certain few, sweeps through the Royal Academy on the winds of rumour, and many suspect that Eumiella, with her otherworldly and unbelievable powers, is in fact the Demon Lord herself. It is then that the Academy's newly appointed headmaster assigns Eumiella the task of overseeing field training for the students of the regional nobility. Unfortunately, Eumiella doesn't have the faintest clue where to start, and the students are left more than a little panicked. However, among the chaos there is Patrick, the one student really trying to understand Eumiella. It's volume 2 of the fantasy tale of a most powerful, evil hidden boss (who wishes she could just live a life of peace and quiet).

The heroine of Light Heroes, Alicia Enlight, is a target of bullying?! Naturally, prince Edwin immediately suspects Eumiella, but Patrick steps in to clear her name. When Eumiella confronts the real culprit, however, she is confronted with a shocking realization the very path that may have led the original Eumiella down a path of hatred! What's more, Eumiella finds herself unable to escape Duke Hillrose's daughter, Elenora. Eumiella enacts a plan in which to draw Elenora's ire, but it proves far more difficult than expected! Meanwhile, one of the game's events is coming up - the end of year ball. Eumiella is all set to skip it entirely when a dress arrives from none other than the queen herself! Also, look forward to an adorable new character!
