Surrounded by the hate-filled gazes of her people, the selfish princess of the fallen Tearmoon Empire, Mia, takes one last look at the bleeding sun before the guillotine blade falls...Only to wake back up as a twelve-year-old! With time rewound and a second chance at life dropped into her lap, she sets out to right the countless wrongs that plague the ailing Empire. Corrupt governance? Check. Border troubles? Check. Natural calamities and economic strife? Check. My, seems like a lot of work.Hard work and Mia don’t mix, so she seeks out the aid of others, starting with her loyal maid, Anne, and the brilliant minister, Ludwig. Together, they strive day and night to restore the Empire. Little by little, their tireless efforts begin to change the course of history, pushing the whole of the continent toward a new future. And why did the selfish princess have a change of heart, you ask? Simple—she didn’t. She’s just terrified of the guillotine. They hurt like hell, and Mia hates pain more than work.

It''s the summer holidays, and Mia''s on a roll.Ever since the spoiled princess of Tearmoon leapt through time and restarted life as a twelve-year-old, everything has been going her way. Leveraging her memory of future events and — unwittingly — the delusions of those around her, she secures a source of wheat for the coming famine and prevents a civil war from breaking out.And then, at last, she manages to avert her own grisly death by guillotine, erasing from existence the very diary that foretold her doom! Things are going so well that she can''t help but erupt into song and dance......Only to slam into a proverbial brick wall. And have the rug pulled out from under her. Just for good measure. That dreaded word — revolution — once again reaches her ears, only this time, it''s not in Tearmoon. She is horrified to learn that a popular uprising in Remno is threatening the stability of the entire kingdom. To make matters worse, her princely sweetheart, Abel, has gone home for the holidays, trapping him at the center of the chaos. To go, or not to go? That is the question. Should she brave danger to mount a rescue, or sit safe in the comfort of her own castle? Freed from the curse of the guillotine and faced with an uncertain future, what choice will Mia make?

Half a year has passed since the Remno revolution ended. Spring has rolled around again, bringing with it what Mia considers to be one of the most important occasions of the year — spring break. Freed from the duties of school and station, she’s ready to seize the day! By which she means, of course, do absolutely nothing productive and lounge around in bed all day.Her indolent plans are cut short, however, when her own granddaughter, Bel, is whisked backwards through time and deposited in front of her. Just when she thought she was finally done with worrying about the guillotine, she learns of the grisly future awaiting her, in which a war of succession rends the empire in two. Mia herself has been killed by poison, and Bel narrowly avoided execution by leaping through time.As if that wasn’t enough, she discovers that this terrible chain of events can be traced back to Rafina’s tragic transformation into a dictator. Altering the course of history will, of all things, require her to defeat Rafina in the upcoming election for student council president!Underprepared, polling abysmally, and trailed by a granddaughter who inherited all her, erm, Mia-est bits, she once again finds herself at a historical turning point... without the faintest clue of what she''s supposed to do!

Mia just can’t catch a break! She ran for student president, won, and bent the arc of history away from the calamitous developments Bel foretold. You’d think saving the future would be enough to earn her some rest, but all she got for her troubles was an urgent letter from Ludwig requesting her immediate return to the empire.

She sets out for Tearmoon, only to learn upon arriving that the academy city, which she was counting on, is now falling apart before their very eyes. The headmaster? Bailed on them. The teachers? Fleeing by the boatload. The project itself? At risk of grinding to a halt. And to make matters worse, the Greenmoons are apparently the ones behind it all! Ludwig offers a solution: they need a new headmaster with enough clout to stop the exodus of teachers, and his former master fits the bill. Sounds great!

The only problem is...the man’s a stubborn old badger who hates nobles with a burning passion!

Mia’s summer cruise has turned into a full-blown adventure! Stranded on a deserted island sans boat and supplies, she and her friends need to figure out how to survive. Well, she and most of her friends, because Esmeralda has gone missing! The group decides to split up to look for her, and Mia gets paired up with Abel.

Hey, maybe being stuck on an island isn’t so bad! Especially if it means she gets to be alone with her sweetheart. Little does she know, deep within the island lies a dark secret lost to time. In unearthing it she will learn the hidden truth of the Tearmoon Empire... and how it’s inextricably linked to her own morbid fate.

Can Mia break free of the bonds of history and avert her ever-impending doom? Maybe, but not before she gets in some quality flirting time! After all, Mia’s primary concern is and always will be herself, and the only bond she’s interested in right now is the one with Abel. Too bad the island isn’t about to let her have her way...

Mia has a problem. It’s not defeating Ruby at the Horsemanship Tournament. She enjoyed that. Nor is it winning the allegiance of the Redmoons and gaining access to their military might. That was positively brilliant. No, her problem is the fact that she still has no idea what’s going to happen during the Holy Eve Festival. And she really needs to know, because the Princess Chronicles continues to predict her death that day! With her assassination drawing ever closer, she grows steadily more anxious. Desperate times call for desperate measures. So, Mia resolves to...go mushroom picking! After all, if she''s going to die soon, she might as well start working on her bucket list, and at the very top is enjoying some exquisite mushroom stew. Conveniently, Bel shows up with her new and first-ever friend, Citrina Yellowmoon, who happens to know a thing or two about mushrooms. What perfect timing! Ready to indulge in some fungal foraging fun, Mia prepares to head off to the forest...

Just as Mia’s getting ready to take it easy for a while, her old friend the great famine comes knocking again, this time in the form of a complete collapse of Forkroad & Co.’s business. Without their logistics, Mia’s famine prevention plan is now critically hobbled. You’d think surviving an assassination attempt would entitle her to some rest and recreation—so much for taking it easy!

As she investigates the source of all this, an old name from her past life resurfaces, along with a host of bitter memories associated with it—Shalloak Cornrogue, the Merchant King. Remembering the indignity she once suffered at his hands, a wolfish smile creeps across her face. No one picks a fight with Mia Luna Tearmoon and gets away with it. Not indefinitely, at least. Time for some payback.

Unbeknownst to her, said payback will take Mia all the way to Perujin, dragging in a multitude of people and culminating in a showdown that will change the fate of the entire country forever...

Mia reclines and flips open the Princess Chronicles, wondering what new developments it has in store, when her eyes leap to a certain line: “Sion Sol Sunkland perished in his youth.” Needless to say, she does not remain recumbent for long. How could this possibly be?!

Though he may be infuriating at times, Sion is an ally, a classmate, and most importantly...a friend. She needs to warn him; if she can’t save him personally—which, let’s face it, is unlikely given her limited faculties—then he can at least save himself. But how? She only has a month before his impending doom. She can’t exactly tell him he’s going to die because a magic book said so. Heck, she can’t tell him anything at all—he’s currently in Sunkland, and she has no business there.

That’s when an aggrieved Esmeralda shows up complaining about a marriage proposal her father insists she accept. Upon hearing that the suitor is a Sunkland noble, the cogs in Mia’s brain begin to turn...

Donning a precious keepsake dress made by her mother, ex-selfish-princess Mia throws open the doors to the ballroom and prepares to confront the swirling conspiracy threatening to swallow the whole of Sunkland. It is here that the Crown Prince Sion is prophesied to be fatally poisoned by his younger brother, Echard. The death of either brother would surely lead to ruin, so Mia needs a plan to avert disaster.

After considerable (by Mia standards) thought, she devises a brilliant (again, by Mia standards) scheme. It’s time for Operation Keep-Sion-Dancing-So-He-Never-Has-a-Chance-to-Drink-Anything! Unsurprisingly, her plan falls flat almost immediately, as the myriad factions and players in this game of power are hardly willing to sit idly by and allow her to interfere with their goals.

When she’s up against Sion’s burden of justice, Echard’s inferiority complex, AND Sunkland’s complex political background, can Mia lead everyone toward a better, brighter future?

So, how many lives did Mia end up saving in Sunkland again? There’s Sion, King Abram, and even Echard—in other words, practically the entire royal family. Go Mia! However, her adventures in Sol Saliente put her face-to-face with an opponent she can’t ignore: the glorious taste of sheep’s butter, imported straight from the Equestrian Kingdom!

Her eyes on the prize, Mia immediately accompanies Rafina and Abel on their stop to the Equestrian Kingdom, only to once again be attacked by the horseback brigands from before! Luckily, Lin Malong comes to their rescue and captures the bandit leader, a young girl named Aima. She reveals herself to be a member of the lost Fire Clan, and upon hearing that they’ve hit hard times, Malong decides that he can’t look the other way. He invites Mia to help mediate the negotiations, a position she has no interest in taking. That is, of course, until he tells her of all the tasty milk she’d be able to enjoy...

The fate of the Fire Clan resting on her shoulders, Mia heads off on the Matching of Steeds—a two-day race that will push her horsemanship skills to their limits. Her plan? To lose, of course! There’s no way she could best an Equestri in a horse race. That would be absurd. Except...the absolute faith of her comrades throws a wrench in that plan. While they all expect her to win, Mia’s faith in herself pales in comparison to theirs. She thus spends the race scheming to create the most favorable defeat! But will her splash-fights, horse-shaped bread, and friendly attitude be enough to win over her opponent?

"After saving the King of Sunkland, reuniting the thirteen clans of the Equestrian Kingdom, and defeating the High Priestess of the Chaos Serpents, Mia has finally returned to Saint-Noel for some much-needed respite...until that’s interrupted by two girls magically appearing before her. If Bel wasn’t enough, Mia must now also care for the mysterious Patricia. Just where did she come from? Bel doesn’t seem to know, and the only clue they have is her last name: Clausius.

As Mia tries to dig into the girl’s past, she discovers a terrifying truth. Patricia’s education has been raising her into a Chaos Serpent! To keep this under wraps, Mia resolves to tell her a minor fib—she isn’t Princess Mia Luna Tearmoon, but a teacher sent by the Serpents. Mia uses this pretense to raise the girl right, and somehow, it works! But as smiles begin to return to Patricia’s lips, the case of a stolen sacramental item throws her morals into question...

"

Two months after the introduction of the SEEC program at Saint-Noel Academy, it’s finally summer break. And Mia isn’t returning to the Tearmoon Empire alone! She’s got Patty with her, plus Bel, Yanna, Kiryl, and of course...her personal bodyguard, Abel! But even summer break is not time off for Mia. Except it’s not the quickly approaching famine taking up her time, but Ruby’s impending engagement to Hildebrandt, Mia’s horse-loving cousin! Since Ruby’s heart belongs to Vanos and Mia a sucker for high-stakes romance, Mia contrives to break off this engagement and match Ruby with her true love. How does she plan to do this? With a horsemanship tournament!...

Wait, a what now?

King Nestori of Ganudos Port Country wasn’t assassinated! Woo-hoo! ...Except he immediately points to Orania, his own daughter, as the culprit. Cue chaos. Orania, Patty, Yanna, and Kiryl are taken away, while Abel and Bel head to the Greenmoons’ manor to enlist Esmeralda, Echard, and Sion’s help. Meanwhile, Mia gets stuck at the palace after promising to prove Orania’s innocence. To make matters worse, Orania and the children are let free by a certain bandanna-wearing Chaos Serpent, and now they’re on the run. Questions are endless. Answers, not so much. Why did Nestori blame his daughter? Why was Orania freed? Will the Visalians get the justice they deserve, and is Patty’s long-lost brother really in Ganudos? And most importantly, they’re not really going to build that giant golden lighthouse, are they?

The Tearmoon Empire has fallen. As the flames of revolution scour the land, the empire’s ever-selfish princess, Mia, is publicly executed by way of the guillotine...only to wake up in the past as her twelve-year-old self! The empire’s back, the revolution is a distant memory, and sweets are once again on the table!

As the bloodstained diary she brought back with her proves, however, Mia’s memories of the future are by no means just a bad dream. All the horrors and indignities she experienced in that terrible timeline are bound to happen all over again... That is, unless she can shape herself up, recruit some allies, and exploit her knowledge of what’s to come to solve all of the empire’s problems before they spiral horribly (and lethally) out of control!

Is Mia up to the lofty task of changing the future and saving her empire? Not even slightly, but it’s her only choice if she hopes to spare herself from a second gruesome end at the blade of the guillotine!

What could be harder than saving an empire from a laundry list of oncoming calamities and escaping the looming threat of a bloodthirsty revolution? Doing all of that while also keeping up with your social life at a new school! That’s exactly the predicament that Mia has found herself in, but it gets worse: she’s also classmates with her greatest enemies from the timeline she was executed in!

From the most perfect prince in history, Sion Sol Sunkland, to the de facto head of the academy’s social hierarchy, Rafina Orca Belluga, Mia is surrounded by the revolutionary army’s future leaders, and she couldn’t be more scared! A little abject terror, unfortunately, isn’t enough to excuse her from her social responsibilities as the Imperial Princess. She’ll have to find somebody to take her to the first dance of the year, and she’ll have to do it without provoking the ire of anyone important in the process. What could possibly go wrong?

Summer has arrived, and Mia’s on her way home for a peaceful vacation full of rest and relaxation...if only! Alas, there’s no such thing as a day off when you’re the princess of the continent’s mightiest empire—especially when said empire is still due to collapse on account of a famine any day now—and the moment she returns, Mia is beset by tasks and troubles from all sides!

Being home isn’t without its benefits, though. For one thing, it means Ludwig’s around to guide Mia down the right path (and then give her all the credit for his achievements)! He’s not the only friend she’s made on her home turf either, though Mia herself has yet to realize that fact...nor the fact that a few unsavory characters in the empire’s peerage are cooking up a scheme that could spell doom for everyone, Mia included!

Trouble is brewing on the outskirts of the Tearmoon Empire. A border dispute centered around an obscure stretch of woodland has been growing ever more contentious, and it’s only a matter of time before the imperial army and the tribe that lives in said forest end up in open warfare. How big of a problem could that really be? Big enough to spark the whole revolution, as it turns out!

The incident in the Sealance Forest has come to a close, and thanks to Mia’s slightly bumbling but incredibly fortunate efforts, nobody even died! Now it’s time for her to sit back, relax, and enjoy the summer holidays...or at least, it would be, if it weren’t for the fact that she still has plenty of fallout to contain and potential allies to ingratiate herself to. There’s never a second to waste when revolution looms on the horizon!

Mia’s efforts to save her skin, however, are about to be thrown for a loop when something truly unexpected happens to the diary that’s been her one source of guidance since her mysterious jaunt back in time began. And as if that wasn’t shocking enough, the political situation of the empire and its surrounding nations is about to be turned on its head in the least expected way possible!

Mia’s worst nightmare has finally come to pass. The flames of revolution have begun to burn...in the Kingdom of Remno?! At first, Mia is overjoyed to know that her own kingdom is safe, but then a very important realization hits her: that’s where Abel lives! In almost no time at all, Mia and her friends put together a team and set out on a rescue mission—and in even less time than that, the mission goes horribly sideways and Mia and Sion are separated from the group!

Meanwhile, back in the empire, Mia’s trusted advisors work frantically to find a way to help her, and in doing so, begin to realize that there might be more to the revolution in Remno than meets the eye. Shadowy figures are hard at work behind the scenes, and they haven’t taken kindly to Mia’s meddling...

One minute Mia’s wandering into Remno in the hopes of saving Abel from a revolution, and the next, she’s found herself kidnapped by that very revolution’s minions! Fortunately, it seems that opinions within the revolution’s ranks are rather divided—one of its own members sets Mia free, begging her to help put a stop to the chaos. Less fortunately, Mia has no clue whatsoever how she could possibly pull that off!

To make matters worse, Mia’s traveling companion, Prince Sion, is driven by far more complex motives than the pea-brained princess. In a complex set of circumstances where good and evil are far from black and white, his dedication to justice could prove instrumental in turning the tables—though for whom, and to what end, is anyone’s guess. Will Sion be Abel’s greatest ally, or his worst enemy?
