Hachiman Hikigaya's travails in the Service Club continue! When his younger sister Komachi comes to the Service Club with a problem involving Hachiman's stoic, intimidating classmate Saki, he's faced with a challenge. How's he supposed to break through Saki's unflappable and frankly frightening demeanor? Is it possible that Hachiman's notorious cynicism is actually going to be good for something, for once?

A summer break without anyone around is the perfect scenario for loner Hachiman Hikigaya, but Hiratsuka-sensei knows just how to shatter his dreams. Instead of a quiet vacation, the members of the Service Club (as well as Hayama's circle of popular students) are helping out at a children's day camp. Not only that,but Totsuka has an invitation for him, as well as a request from a classmate--heeven runs into Yukino's sister at the fireworks festival! Hachiman is determinednot to get close to anyone or have any expectations, but even this stubbornloner can't ignore the changes occurring in his relationships with Yukino andYui...

As usual, Hachiman Hikigaya's warped personality prevents him from having any enjoyable moments of youth. The days all the seem the same until suddenly, an 'incident' occurs in class. This is a problem that no one who had any semblance of a normal high school life could solve, but if it's Hachiman, just maybe...
