If there is one thing in this world that many of us have not avoided, it is to love and to have been loved. To love is as certain as death. To be loved is slightly more complicated because one can always know what one feels, but how do we know the sincerity of the love that others have for us?

Massiel Alfonso uses her melancholy in this literary piece, giving voice to her feelings in a walk through vulnerability, and what it means to deposit your essence and invest your capacity to care for humans without the capacity to value and appreciate your openness to trust someone else.

Handful of poems is the perfect example of resilience. It is to experience poems connecting with your emotions as they emerge. This collection of poems will strike every fiber of your being with each word, as you feel flowers being born inside all the scars caused by forgetting about yourself and becoming that person that someone else wanted to possess.

Each chapter will take you on a reflective journey through your heart making you appreciate with maturity each failed relationship that took you from a hurtful situation to being renewed and becoming a heart-full person.
