Welcome to the world of Rosie Nix! Rosie loves science, bike riding, and pancakes on Saturdays. She DOES NOT LIKE having to try new things. So what happens when she has to learn about Football in school PE? "Rosie Nix Knows Nothing About Football" is the first book in this quirky new children''s series for ages 6-10.
Written by a clinical psychologist with over 25 years of experience working with children and young people, Rosie Nix''s stories will resonate with young children who have faced anxiety. Quirky, smart and kind, Rosie sometimes just does not understand the weird rituals of humans and why they want her to participate! Surrounded by a range of humorous characters - best friend Lila, schoolyard arch-nemesis Leo, and little monster/sister Macey - Rosie''s unique personality brings humour into her daily challenges. Through her daily diary entries, readers gain a window into Rosie''s unusual way of thinking and seeing the world. They might even see a little bit of themselves, and learn if Rosie can do it, so can they.
