Super Penguin saves the day again by stopping bullying in its tracks! Bullying is the number one issue that children face in schools today, and children who are victims of bullying often don''t want to go to school because of this. In fact, my child has experienced bullying, and I have seen these effects firsthand. Whether it be due to a lack of understanding or intolerance of those with differences, the effects of being bullied can last a lifetime. A Boy Named Penguin: The Mystery of the Albino Calf is meant to educate all children on the importance of respect, tolerance, and understanding despite how a person looks or behaves. Read along with Logan as he utilizes his Super Penguin secret identity to help an albino calf named Blanco overcome bullying while teaching everyone that the differences between us are what make the world SUPER!
Whether they are experiencing bullying, or notice it happening to someone else, this book teaches children to recognize bullying and shows them exactly what they should do when it happens. In the back of the book, there is a step-by-step guide to teach them how they can protect others and themselves if they notice bullying and how to reach out to their grown-ups for help.

This is a very special book dedicated to raising awareness and acceptance of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and other disabilities. The idea of this book came from my son, who is on the autism spectrum. Often, when he became scared or nervous, he would start calling himself a penguin. As time went on, he started to wear a cape and solve "mysteries" with his stuffed animals. Every time someone would meet him, he would say "Hi, my name is Logan, but you can call me "Penguin". Recognizing the empowerment he felt as his alter ego "Penguin," I felt his story needed to be told to encourage other "penguins" and super hero kids to embrace their differences and to share these unique gifts.
The book encourages children to embrace their differences, whether that includes Autism, Down Syndrome, ADHD, Dyslexia, Hard of Hearing, or any other disabilities that may be visible or not. The back of the book includes a quiz to create a dialogue with kids that will help them learn ways they can become more independent. You can read this book to your favorite "penguin," or they can read it out loud to you. This book was made to be read over and over again - because everyone loves penguins!

Logan goes to school, where he and his friend, Austin, have a disagreement. They accidentally knock over the cages and containers in their class zoo, releasing frogs and butterflies into the classroom and down the hallway. With very little time to spare before class starts, Logan and his friends must work together to put things right before their teacher, Mrs. McG, discovers anything is amiss. While Austin refuses to help, Logan and his friend, Andrea, use their special gifts and secret super powers to round up the critters escaping their classroom. With the help of Frog Fetcher Girl and Super Penguin, the day is saved and a lesson is learned: people that are different are perfect in their own way.
In this book, children learn that not everyone looks the same; some people may have a different skin color, some may use a wheelchair or other medical devices, or some may just dress a little different. Every child is special and amazing in their own way, and they should be celebrated no matter what their differences are.

Join Super Penguin, Giraffey, and Meow Meow in book four of their award-winning series! Logan- also known as Super Penguin- is on his toughest and most important mission of all. A little boy named Nick is feeling the pressures of life and runs away while camping with his parents. Super Penguin needs to find Nick and then help him understand, through the love of his parents and his friends, how Finding Happy is just around the corner. This book tackles the tough topic of mental health, and seeks to teach readers that it''s okay to feel sad sometimes- and that friends and family are always there to help them find happy again, no matter how hard it may seem.
As parents, our number one goal is to make sure our children are healthy and happy - and mental health is a big part of that. It''s important to teach children how to cope when they are feeling low and to let them know they can always go to their grown-ups when they are not feeling well. Teaching these habits early on is the best way to make sure every child is on the course for a great future. This powerful book was made to be read over and over again. At the back of this book, there is a short list of questions that can be used to check in with your children and help spot signs that they may be struggling with their mental health.
