Three months have passed since Nachtlibelle slayed the boss of Level Ninety-Eight, thanks in no small part to Wim Strauss, their newest member. With the boss slain, Nachtlibelle continues to explore the hidden areas of the labyrinth. However, as they return home from their latest victory, Wim detects an overwhelming number of dirty traps, snares set by abenteurers for other abenteurers. While navigating through these devious traps on Level Ninety-Nine, Wim gets separated from his party. Fortunately, he encounters another group of like-minded abenteurers. Are they the key to his survival, or the next stage of an elaborate plan to capture him?

Wim Strauss is a 'granting caster' - a support mage who can increase the strength of his allies through the power of his spells. It's a useful talent, but since it can't be used directly in battle, it gets zero respect from the other members of his party. As far as they're concerned, support magic is dead weight. It isn't long before they toss him out on his ear, leaving Wim to wonder if his career as an adventurer is over.Lucky for Wim, he has one big chance: His childhood friend Heidemarie is able to get him an audition with her elite A-rank party, Nachtlibelle. The two of them know his magic is good for more than just menial backup, but now he'll have to prove it. It's time to show the world that support mages can do more than just stand on the back lines!

After an impressive tryout, Wim Strauss is Nachtlibelle’s newest interim member. Shortly thereafter, an investigator from the Abenteurers' Guild arrives to question how a lowly granting sorcerer could have soloed a boss monster. As Nachtlibelle prepares for its deepest and most dangerous labyrinth dive yet, its leader sets out to uncover the mystery of Wim’s incredible powers.

Nachtlibelle ventures to the untrodden level ninety-eight. Assigned to the vanguard to cast buffs and utilise his “Trap Detection” ability, Wim Strauss demonstrates his power in full force. Progress is smooth - until they encounter the strongest boss they’ve ever faced. As the water rises and cuts off their escape routes, Camilla steps onto the front line!

Half of Nactlibelle has fallen to the strongest boss they’ve ever faced. To protect his party members, Wim casts Shift: Puppenspieler, a taboo buff of great burden. It grants overwhelming speed and highly accurate prediction abilities. However, the boss has a secret move as well, forcing Wim to cast the maximum number of buffs possible on himself. Even if he wins this fight, can he hope to survive?

THE TRUTH SURFACES!During Wim's tryout with A-rank party Nachtlibelle, a super powerful boss attacked and things took a dire turn. Wim made a last stand and cast his most powerful buff on himself, granting unimaginable speed in both body and mind. With the boss defeated and everyone in Nachtlibelle safe, the party returns to the surface and declares Wim a hero. Meanwhile, Filburn's guildmaster continues to narrow his investigation into who soloed a boss in Wim's old party-the same one that kicked him out and now recklessly dives deeper into the labyrinth-Drachenflugel.

THE CALL OF THE LABYRINTH! Nachtlibelle has plunged to the 99th level of the Labyrinth, the same level that nearly saw the end of Wim Strauss’s former group, Drachenflügel. Once again, Nachtlibelle relies on Wim to keep everyone alive, requiring him to push his granting magic to new limits and face the horned monkey boss. But unlocking his ability to this extent may have brought on unintended consequences. Wim suffers terrible headaches and hears a strange voice. Can he see through the haze of his lust for battle clearly enough to figure out where this siren song is coming from before it’s too late?
