Trunk, Snout and Nosey is a book about kindness, working together for the greater good and sharing. Three baby elephants see a precious stone shining in the water of a riverbed. They all want it. They all try to claim it as their own. However, they find out a lot about themselves and learn a valuable lesson in the process.

My love of elephants began when as a child growing up in Brooklyn, New York I visited the zoo with my family.I was amazed at the massive size of the elephants. How could anything be so big but also so gentle. Were they always this size,I wondered. This question was answered when i saw a small baby elephant. What was unusual about this baby elephant was his love of the music playing on the zookeeper´s radio.as he swayed back and forth to the beat of the music. I gave him the name Little Rumba. This is a story about a baby elephant that loves music and finds a way to share it with his family, friends and the rest of his community.
