This is a lively and very approachable piece, the character is anything but serious, so it might be useful as a voluntary only after a very lively (or a childrens) service. From the point of view of anything but the most staid listener, I have no hesitation in saying its a winner. As to difficulty, slowed down a little in order to read the slightly tricky rhythm accurately, anyone who has passed Grade 7 or 8 Associated Board should be able to read the majority of it at sight. The piece needs two manuals, but it would sound good on even a very modest-sized instrument. Highly Recommended.
