Lynette Owen (General Editor and Contributor) is a freelance copyright and rights consultant. She started her publishing career in rights at Cambridge University Press and also worked at Pitman Publishing and Marshall Cavendish before joining Longman Group Ltd (now Pearson Education) until May 2013 as Copyright Director. She regularly lectures on copyright and rights courses both in the UK and abroad.
