Marea Mitchell is Professor in English at Macquarie University, where her main research interests are in medieval and Renaissance English studies. Her previous publications include Representing Women and Female Desire from Arcadia to Jane Eyre (co-author) (2005) and Anna Weamy's Continuation of Sidney's Arcadia (editor) (2005).
