Thalia Myers studied piano at the Royal College of Music with Cyril Smith and later with Ilona Kabos and Peter Feuchtwanger. She combines an active career as a pianist, giving numerous premiere performances and broadcasts of new British Music, with teaching posts at both the Royal College of Music Junior Department and Royal Holloway, University of London.

An array of stunning pieces, miniatures that will satisfy the needs of teachers and students for contemporary piano music suitable for the early grades or for those who simply want to tackle repertoire that is original, tuneful, different and most importantly, speaks to today's performers.Ms Myers is to be congratulated for her tenacity and foresight as the motivating force behind this project. Whilst they might be miniatures, this inspired and highly recommended collection contains mature works that students of all ages and levels will enjoy playing.
