Regency Pugh graduated from Nottingham Trent university with a degree in Creative Arts and followed a career in design, illustration and art direction. For many years she has studied Japanese art, culture and calligraphy, both in Japan and the UK. She has developed her use of Sumi ink and Japanese brushes into an individual art style, always maintaining the simplest form and minimal line. THE FINAL WORD. Jane Tattersfield grew up in London and studied illustration at Kingston. She began her career with commissions and went on to specialize in children’s books and television work. As an illustrator she created a highly colourful, intricately decorative style, with influences from India, South America, textile, folk and Islamic art that still inspire her work today. Anna Stead is an illustrator working from her home in the beautiful North Cotswolds. She draws inspiration from nature, legend, history, folklore, literature, folk art and the mythic arts.
