What was meant to be a brief stay with family in the countryside for the summer has been suddenly extended! When Nozomu’s sister joins them, she finds her brother under assault from their tomboyish younger cousin Sou, and the antics are only escalating. As Nozomu learns to appreciate rural life, Sou finally starts to reflect on their “innocent” interactions. With the two getting closer, and with Nozomu’s return to Tokyo fading into the distance, his lively days with his clingy cousin aren’t going away anytime soon.

When Nozomu ends up having to spend his summer vacation at his uncle’s house, his main concern isn’t being stuck in the middle of nowhere with nothing but hills and rice fields all around - it’s his cousin Sou! This tanned tomboy is cute and full of pep but has zero respect for Nozomu’s personal space or his authority as her older cousin. And to make matters worse, whether intentional or not, her clingy behaviour almost makes it feel like she’s coming onto him!
