J. V. Martin is an absolute romantic at heart and at the age of fifteen she wrote her first romance short story about an independent woman living in an orthodox society. She continued writing several short stories some of which were published in local magazines. She graduated from University Putra Malaysia and later moved to live in London where she completed the Novel Writing course with the London School of Journalism. She is a member of the Romantic Novelists’ Association (RNA) UK and was one of the runners up in the 2020 Gollancz and Rivers of London BAME SFF Award. She loves reading romance and Sci-Fi fiction as well as watching romance and Sci-Fi movies and TV series. When J. V. Martin is not writing, she enjoys just chilling on the sofa with her dog and reading a good romantasy novel. She currently lives on the Isle of Man which is part of the British Isles, with her husband and her dog.
