She has also served as a National Leader of Education, supporting schools in challenging circumstances to significantly raise and sustain standards.Manreet Ratan is a qualified teacher and experienced education consultant with a background in English leadership across diverse school settings. Specialising in literacy, she has supported schools nationally with expert guidance on effective English teaching.With a deep understanding of English and the pedagogy behind high-quality literacy provision, Manreet helps schools strengthen practice and raise standards in reading, phonics, and writing.
