The Keeper’s Quest

A girl desperate to save her father. A sorcerer with a terrible secret. An assassin determined to escape her fate. The blockbuster new series from the acclaimed author of FIREBORN. For ten generations, Skye’s family has hidden the Oryon – a dragonblade capable of slaying the gods. But a year ago, everything fell apart: Skye’s mother died, the blade was lost and Skye’s father left to recover it and never returned. When Skye makes a reckless bargain with a wild god, she is thrown into the path of Rictus Reap, head of the guild of assassins. The deal he offers Skye is simple: the Oryon in exchange for her father. But the dragonblade is locked inside Darkenghast, the most secure fortress ever built. Together with Merry, a sorcerer hiding a dangerous secret, and assassin-in-training Nyx, Skye must pull off a daring heist. As dark forces gather around the trio and an ancient evil stirs, they will have to choose whether to accept their legacies or forge new destinies – but escaping their fates may be impossible.
