Snyggt upplägg med imponerande korsreferenser till varje separat entry. Engelsk originaltext med en hel del sublima synonymer och ibland lite extravaganta ordval av författaren vilket gör att man bör behärska det engelska språket rätt ordentligt för att slippa sträcka sig efter en bra engelsk-svensk ordbok i tid och otid. Ibland förirrar sig författaren - Simon Price - i sin oerhört vida research och kommer lite vilse på en del, något onödiga, villovägar. Jag har definitivt inte sträckläst boken utan mera använt den som förströelseläsning men ofta kommit på att jag måste jämföra fakta med andra böcker jag har som behandlar The Cure eller någon låt på en skiva som jag bara måste kolla upp en, i boken nämnd, detalj på. Jag vågar nog påstå att Simon Price har bra koll på läget och alla fakta på hand och här har skapat en perfekt uppslagsbok om ett band som har genomgått stora förändringar både musikaliskt och idealistiskt utan att ha ändrat inställning till hur man vill få ut sin musik till skaran av fans, som hela tiden har vuxit. Jag själv, som är lite av en Cure-nörd, tycker att det är en bok som borde tilltala alla även om det säkert finns die hard fans som saknar detaljer från den innersta kretsen. / Johnny Andersson, Uppsala.
