      Guru Subramanyam is currently a Professor and School of Engineering Faculty Fellow in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Dayton, USA. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering in 1993 from the University of Cincinnati, specializing in microelectronics. His current research focuses on thin films for oxide electronics, including neuromorphic computing and reconfigurable microwave circuits. He has collaborated with the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) since 2000. To date, his work has been funded by NASA, AFRL, AFOSR, NSF, DARPA, and Microelectronics Commons.Professor Subramanyam received the University of Dayton Alumni Award for Scholarship in 2008 and the IEEE Dayton Section Harrell Noble Award in 2007 for his achievements in electronic devices. In 2013, the University of Dayton established the Center of Excellence for Thin-Film Research and Surface Engineering (CETRASE) under his leadership. In 2024, he was recognized as a Distinguished Professor and named School of Engineering Faculty Fellow at the University of Dayton. Karl S. Gudmundsson (PhD) graduated from the Marine Engineering College of Iceland in 1984. He received his BS and MS degrees in computer engineering in 1996 and 1998, and his PhD in engineering, concentrating on electrical engineering, from Wright State University, in 2004. His research interests include theoretical and experimental, optical signal/image processing, classification, and tracking, optical computing algorithms, and architectures. Akhlesh Lakhtakia is an Evan Pugh University Professor and The Charles Godfrey Binder (Endowed) Professor in the Department of Engineering Science and Mechanics, at Pennsylvania State University, USA. He received his BTech. (1979) and DSc (2006) degrees from Banaras Hindu University, India, and his MS (1981) and PhD (1983) degrees from the University of Utah, USA. His current research interests include electromagnetic and elastodynamic fields in complex materials and architected materials, including sculptured thin-films and mimumes, thin-film solar cells, biologically inspired design, and forensic science. Dr. Partha P. Banerjee is a Professor in the Department of Electro-Optics and Photonics (EOP) at the University of Dayton, USA, where he served as Director and later Chair of the department from 2012 to 2020. He also served as Chair of the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering from 2000 to 2005. Prior to joining the University of Dayton, he was a faculty member at the University of Alabama in Huntsville from 1991 to 2000 and at Syracuse University from 1984 to 1991.His research interests include digital and dynamic holography, photorefractive materials, metamaterials, nonlinear optics, and optical trapping.At the University of Dayton, Dr. Banerjee established the Holography and Metamaterials (HaM) Laboratory, where he currently leads the research group.
